1500+ sq. ft. duplex, that comfortably sleeps 6, is an ideal space and is perfectly outfitted.

Centrally located on a quiet street at the convergence of 3 great L.A. Neighborhoods--Larchmont Village, Hollywood and Hancock Park, this duplex is less than a block and a half from the Melrose entrance to Paramount Studios and minutes away from great bars, restaurants, and shopping.

The master bedroom with a comfortable top-of-the-line queen size bed has two large closets and access to its own private deck. The adjoining bathroom's large shower features subway tiles and a skylight. The second bathroom, also newly renovated, has a combination bath and shower. No compromise here!

Bedroom number two is large and has a full size bed, ample closet space and lots of storage.

Included in this duplex is a 'sunroom' or 'bonus room' set up as either a workspace or an additional bedroom. The room includes a Serta pillow-top full-size futon.

The light-filled living room, framed with beautifully crafted windows comes equipped with a flat screen TV complete with satellite service (DirecTV).

There is plenty of street parking.

The central location of this duplex is ideal for Los Angeles' many attractions. Within a few minutes of the duplex you will find the epicenter (an L.A. metaphor) of L.A.'s restaurant, theatre, club and bar scene as well as attractions such as the Hollywood Bowl, Pantages Theatre, Universal Studios, Amoeba Records, Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Grove, the Farmer's Market, Chinese Theatre, Jimmy Kimmel Show, Melrose Shopping District, Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), Petersen Automotive Museum, the Greek Theatre, and the Griffith Park Observatory.

Downtown attractions such as Disney Hall, the Music Center, Dodger Stadium, L.A. Live, MOCA, and the Natural History Museum are short drives away.

What makes this duplex's location especially terrific is its close proximity to a gem - the commercial heart of Larchmont Village. Larchmont Village is the quintessential L.A. neighborhood, with its eclectic mix of shops, coffee houses, restaurants, bagel joints, and a not to be missed Sunday Farmer's Market.

Why Dennis chose Larchmont

We chose this duplex because we have always been enamored with the style and warmth of L.A. architecture circa the 1920's, the beautiful neighborhoods of Hancock Park and Larchmont Village, and the vibrancy of Hollywood. With the 2014 remodel of the duplex featuring great new surfaces, fixtures and appliances, the charm and comfort that was already there, was beautifully enhanced. Our wonderful rental property has been a labor of love, and it shows.

Great stay, clean and roomy

We were in LA for a few nights and this was perfect for 3 adults. Good location and accommodations were gracious with laundry, great AC, spacious bedrooms and the most important... clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Spacious sunny place in a great location!

This spot was the perfect “home base” for our quick stay in LA with our two teenage boys. It was very easy to find, (even late at night) sparkling clean and spacious with all the comforts of home. We would return in a heartbeat!

We had some minor issues with the WiFi. It was not especially powerful, but as we were only in and out at night to sleep, it was not a big deal. I was thankful we were not WiFi-dependent for work or communication, or it might have been an issue.

Word of caution about the on-street parking. There is plenty of it, but be mindful of street cleaning on Mondays and Tuesdays. Trees have grown and block the few signs along the street. If you arrive and park in the dark, they are very easily missed. We fell prey to an expensive ticket.

Again, neither the WiFi nor the parking would prevent our return. I mention them only in hopes of helping improve future stays. This place is an outstanding value in the big picture!

Comfortable, spacious upper duplex

My family and I stayed here for a week. It was quiet, comfortable and very convenient. The rooms are large, airy and nicely furnished, and there was plenty of space for all of us. The third bedroom, which is really a den with a futon, would benefit from blackout blinds as there are windows all around and it was too bright for our toddler to nap in during the day. Other than that (and a shortage of drinking glasses), we couldn't have asked for anything better.

Great place to stay!

We were in LA to watch my son run his first marathon. This house was roomy, clean and in a great neighborhood. We walked to shops and lunch and had a great time overall.

This centrally located gem, a half block off of Melrose, is super close to Larchmont Village, one of L.A.'s premier restaurant and shopping areas. At the same time it is less than two miles to the heart of Hollywood, Hollywood and Vine. Universal Studios, LACMA, Dodger Stadium, the Grove, West Hollywood, the Hollywood Bowl, Greek Theatre, the Melrose Shopping District, and downtown attractions are also short drives away. The Paramount Studios tour is literally around the corner. Nearby you will be able to find a Pavillion's Supermarket, Trader Joe's and CVS.
