Lele Penthouse, located at the top of our grand staircase at the second level is this a luxurious penthouse with 4 bedrooms and 2 loft sleeping areas. Four bedrooms on the main floor, and two of these have your choice of King beds or 2 Twins. The Master bedroom has a Queen bed. The fourth room has 2 Queen beds. There are 2 loft bedrooms on the Mezzanine level, one with 2 queen beds and one with a King bed or 2 Twin beds. The Penthouse offers 5 full baths, 2 half baths, two large living entertainment areas, grand dining room, spacious kitchen with all the amenities. Also, a wrap around deck surrounds the ocean facing side of the penthouse including a BBQ and dining deck and a secluded whale watch deck with a shower at the mezzanine level. 3 of the bedrooms each have a private entrance to the pool area in the back yard. The penthouse will sleep up to 16 guests.

The Lele Penthouse is just one of the four condominium suites at the Wailea Inn. The Wailea Inn villa has four separate newly remodeled units, each with their own private lanai (patio). About Gal

Owner Gal Cohen was born and raised in Israel. His diverse career includes the Real Estate Development, Construction, Landscape & Design, Consulting and Property Management Industries. Gal Cohen is the founder of Cohen Development Group, a real estate investment company active across Maui in the development, ownership and operation of luxury residential and commercial properties. Gal has mastered the art of modern and contemporary design and construction that compliments the existing environment. His signature earthy, contemporary and eclectic style can be identified in each of his projects, ranging from oceanfront residential homes to the renovation of Lumeria Maui, a historic luxury retreat and educational center, and the remodel of Wailea Inn.

In partnership with Xorin Balbes, Gal purchased and remodeled Wailea Inn in 2013. An avid traveler, Gal wanted to create an accommodation that combined his memorable stays from all around the world. The result being Wailea Inn – a combination of comfort, luxury and tropical landscape all with convenient access to daily surf sessions and the Maui sunsets. Outside his passion for work, he enjoys spending time with his family, surfing, stand-up paddling, traveling and practicing yoga.

Owner Xorin Balbes is an award winning architectural conservator, lauded designer, and philanthropist, Xorin Balbes discovered his passion and vision for the design and re-design process while renovating his first home in Santa Barbara. He is founder of TempleHome, an award winning architecture and design firm recognized nationally for conservation and a holistic approach to design that nourishes the soul and harbors an impressive high-profile celebrity client list. Xorin’s impressive succession of re-designs and renovations encouraged him to develop his own philosophy for home design entitled, SoulSpace. The process was born out of Xorin’s discovery of a deeper purpose and meaning in his life.

Each suite provides conveniences such as complimentary high-speed wireless internet, Smart TV’s, washing machines and dryers, full kitchens, private garden view lanai’s and free on-site gated parking. You’ll find plenty of thoughtful touches such as the complimentary Maui grown coffee and chocolate covered macadamia nuts in each kitchen. The Property Manager greets guests upon check-in to deliver keys, lead a brief property tour and answer any questions. This place was a perfect location for two families to meet for the first time before the wedding. It gave us an opportunity to relax, eat together, and laugh about the stories of the families. We will come again!

Perfect place for a large family vacation

The property was the perfect size and location for our family vacation for 8 adults and 2 children. It's only a block from the beach and a short walk from great breakfast and coffee shops. It's just a short drive from shopping, restaurants and entertainment. It was very clean, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The kitchen was well-stocked and they had everything that we needed to enjoy our time on the beach (sand toys, beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, water shoes, etc.). The only down side was that two of the sleeping areas are in the loft, not separated from the main living area by walls, so there was no way to sleep while others were still up and around. Despite that one little thing, it's a beautiful place to stay and we would definitely stay again.

Large family get away

We stayed at the Wailea Inn Penthouse with our family of five adult children, significant others, and grand children. The place was wonderful with plenty of room for all. The rooms were clean, the pool and patio a delight and it was a wonderful surprise to discover a beautiful sandy beach a block away! We definitely will recommend the Wailea Inn to any large group that would like to spend time in Maui. We would love to come back sometime!

We have just returned from a fabulous week at the Wailea Inn. Our daughter was married on the island and we rented the Lele Penthouse for 11 family members attending. I cannot say enough about this gorgeous property. The location is beautiful, across the street from the beach. The pool and property are beautiful and well maintained. The house was well appointed and SPOTLESS!! We really appreciated all the bathrooms when we were all getting ready for the wedding. Jason, the property manager could not have been nicer or more accommodating. You cannot go wrong staying here, worth every penny.

75th Birthday Party

21 of us (ages 7 to 75) from across the US and Canada descended on the Wailea Inn for a week. It delivered. A short walk to the pocket beach or slightly longer to great surf with board rentals across the street. 100 yards in other direction ends a swimming beach with walks to adjoining beaches as far as you want to go. House boogie boards and other toys were great for the littles. Walk to restaurants or cook yourself. Used the concierge to arrange snorkel trip, golf, luau, horseback riding and he found excellent services and nice discounts. All I hear is, "This was the best vacation ever."

The Lele Penthouse is a perfectly located 6bed/7bath unit within a luxury vacation villa, the Wailea Inn, that has four separate units all under one roof. Relax where everything is conveniently just located steps away- literally. You can walk to the beaches across the street, go surfing and stand up paddle boarding at the Cove Beach Park and Charley Young Beach, go snorkeling, whale watching, shopping, and dine at nearby restaurants and bars. There's a large playground, skate board park, outdoor roller skating rink, tennis courts, basketball courts, running paths and batting cages within a five minute walk from the property at Kalama Park. Bike and scooter rentals, spa treatments and farmer's markets are right around the corner. Enjoy the property's private heated pool, jacuzzi, indoor yoga studio and outdoor tropical yoga deck all on the gated property... take 50 more steps to get your toes in the sand.

We offer free on-site gated parking for one vehicle per condominium suite. All other vehicles must park on the street in front of the property.
Check-in time is 4 pm.
Based on your planned arrival time, the Property Manager will greet you upon check-in and give you the keys. Upon check-in, please allow five to 10 minutes for a brief property walk-through to answer any questions and to verify the condition of the property.
Late arrivals can access the keys in each suite’s lock box located next to the front door. The gate code is provided in each reservation’s Welcome Forms
Check-out time is 11am.
All unapproved check-outs after 11am will be subject to a holdover charge.
We require a walk-through of each condominium suite with you and our Property Manager to verify that the property is in the same condition as when you checked in. Guest will be accountable for any excess damage or cleaning. Any resulting charges will be deducted from your security deposit.
Check out Procedures:
Close all windows and lock all doors.
Put all perishables and food items in the refrigerator or dispose of it.
Place all trash in the “Aloha Waste” trash dumpster located by the front gate.
Leave both sets of keys and gate openers on the kitchen counter.
Welcome Forms
All Welcome Forms must be signed and emailed back 60 days prior to arrival date to guarantee requested bed configurations and baby equipment. If our Reservations Manager does not receive the Welcome Forms 60 days prior to arrival, all beds will be arranged as king beds instead of the optional twin beds.
The Property Manager is not on-site, therefore guests must designate their estimated arrival time at the Wailea Inn on the Welcome Forms
