Nice cabin that is very accessable to the area attractions.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was very nice, clean, and the location is accessible to all the area attractions; Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the National Forest. Everything was as advertised. The entire family had a very enjoyable time in the area. The pool table was an enjoyable extra for the family.

Cabin retreat in a natural setting

  • 5 of 5

Our weeklong stay at the Lake Mohawk cabin was exactly what we were looking for our family and pet. Cathy, the owner, made the reservation process flawless and her description online was very representative of the cabin's amenities and quiet, wooded setting. The cabin was cozy and clean when we arrived and the keyless entry convenient. The neighboring cabins are very close but designed for privacy and it was still a retreat. We enjoyed coffee on the spacious porch, the relaxing hot tub (great for sore muscles after hiking) and having the cabin as a home base to come back to after we pursued the outdoor activities we love in the gorgeous Smokies! We hope to return as soon as possible. Thanks for a lovely time in the mountains.

Very quaint and clean cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved the cabin and location. It was perfect for my husband and I and our three kids although one more half bath would have been nice! It was very clean and welcoming and we felt very comfortable with our kids there and they loved the hot tub. The kids loved sleeping up in the loft and have their own space. It's an ideal location to Dollywood and all main attractions. My only complaint is NOT about the cabin, but we were there at the tail end of spring break. We didn't think about it because our wild college days are long behind us. But in the evening when the kids were in bed, the crazy screaming and noise and music and laser lights outside made it impossible to relax and have the peace and quiet we were hoping for. But I imagine it can't always be that way! It may have even been the neighborhood across the street but it was very loud. I'm not sure if there is a noise ordinance but it certainly wasn't being enforced. We enjoy a good time too but we're hoping for a more quiet retreat. That occurred both nights we were there. But the cabin itself was wonderful and we would certainly stay again!! Hopefully next time will be a little quieter and more relaxing.

Nice Cabin

  • 3 of 5

I was disppointed in the cabin. The location is great and so close to Pigeon Forge. When I walked into the cabin, it had there was a smell of mildew carpet. The carpet in the living room and bedroom downstairs had a bad odor. They had an air freshner in the bedroom but it should have been replace a few weeks ago, it was dried up. The pictures shows a regular table and chairs but there was a pool table with a piece of wood on it for a table. This wasn't design for kids to eat at. The tv in the living room only had 1 channel ( was a cartoon station) and the tv in the upstairs bedroom didn't work. The only tv that worked was in the downstairs bedroom. Also the phone didn't work either. We got there late on Friday and left early Saturday morning and came back late that night, so I didn't call Cathy about it. They wouldn't have been able to do anything about it at 10 at night. All in all it wasn't a bad cabin. We stayed there Sept 15-17.

Thanks Debbie
