Beautiful waterfront cabin on Hayden Lake, near Coeur d'Alene and Silverwood theme park. Enjoy outstanding views private boat dock and North Idaho waterfront. Close in yet very quiet, paved road to property. Relax on large deck and enjoy a barbecue after a day on the water.

Put in your power boat and have access to the lake and sand bars, Hayden Lake Marina offers a fine restaurant plus boat and jet ski rentals. Two, 18 hole, golf courses are within 30 minutes.
Deer abound in the area and property. A bald eagle lives in the area along with wild turkey, duck, osprey, heron, etc. The national forest access is about a mile away, for hunting, four wheeling, wild life viewing.
The Master Bedroom is located on the lakeside with a view and glass slider which opens up to the upper deck. The guest bedroom is also located on the lakeside with a view, the bunk room has a set of bunks and can accommodate 2 inflatable beds, (supplied).
There is something soothing about being around water. It has always had a draw and has been a large part of my life. God has blessed our family with this wonderful cabin but now the children are grown and on their own.
Donny and Corinna Gardiner purchased this cabin in 2001
The cabin is located in the main attraction
of North Idaho. Lakes and Mountains. The location is a perfect blend of quiet peacefulness and accessibility.
Sun and water with 50' of lakefront beach! The large, mature fur trees provide partial shade to the cabin and deck while allowing the view to be enjoyed.
The view of Hayden Lake and the boats and deck linked to the cabin made fishing and exploring the water the highlight of our stay. The large deck and dining set on the deck made sitting and dining outside pleasurable. The water was a little weedy and murky for swimming, and the shoreline immediate to the cabin and deck was more dirt than sand, although the kids next door didn't seem to mind playing in the water off the deck. We were four adults and one dog. The road circling the lake is pretty narrow and traffic is fairly heavy, so while many people were out running or biking, walking the dog on the paved road required alertness. I was surprised, having visited the CDA area many years ago, how developed and urbanized the area has become. The area offers a great tourist attraction and a fun place to play on the water, but it would be difficult for anyone looking for an isolated beach or picnic area to find one unless one had a cabin or boat of his or her own.
The main room of the cabin is comfortable and attractive, and overall cleanliness was pretty good. The kitchen is very dated, and the "cabin" description adequately describes the overall ambiance of the house itself. The cabin obviously had some water damage in the past, like lots of older waterfront cabins, and while there have been attempts to renovate the cabin, the interior still smells pretty musty. The cabin was well stocked with clean towels, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies, including a vacuum and a nice outdoor grill on the deck. The cabin has a stereo and speakers and a TV. The one bathroom is small but decent and clean, and a washer and dryer, with detergent and dryer sheets were also available. There was no sign of mice. I'm kind of a clean freak, so a newer or more spic and span kitchen would have been preferable.
So while it would have been nice to afford a nicer house with a nicer kitchen, as we mainly spent out three day weekend at the cabin itself and did our own cooking, we booked late and this rental was available. We had no problems with contact from the owners or obtaining directions and key instructions. We paid about $1200 for three nights, which seemed reasonable, given that two hotel rooms, while they may have been more modern, wouldn't have provided a beautiful view, a deck, access to the lake, and a row boat and pedal boat. Everyone living or staying near the cabin was very friendly as well.
Wonderful beautiful retreat very clean cozy amazing views great fishing every thing you need is their for your use loved every minute of it thankyou!!!!!!!!
I had excellent contact with property manager from the beginning of my initial request - he even called the week of to make sure pertinent information was received. We were given knowledgeable directions on how to get to and access the property (even adjustments for current construction). Cabin was beautiful and clean. It was spacious and we loved having three bedrooms. Deck was a delight to have meals on or just enjoy the day and night atmosphere. There is enough of a beach for sand play and the dock is great for fishing. - even the kids were able to catch LOTS of fish. We enjoyed the row and paddle boats provided. Inlet is quiet enough to swim in and enjoy the water on floats. I would definitely use this property and manager again.
Cabin located between Silverwood Theme Park and CoeurdAlene, also near also national Forest very near (1 mile) 4 wheeling, horseback, hunting, and the fishing is great right off dock, etc
