Here in beautiful Oro Valley, our home can be yours for a week, a month, or longer. Our townhome features a very large master bedroom furnished with a queen size bed , walk-in closet, and a master bath complete with a walk-in shower for two. The second bedroom is nicely furnished with a queen size bed and decorated with eclectic knickknacks. A second bathroom with a built in cabinet serves the second bedroom and guests. The living room, complete with a baby grand piano, will have you dancing the night away as the sweet desert Tucson breeze drifts in from the veranda. When you are tired of eating at the many great Tucson restaurants, you will be pleased with the selection of kitchen items to make your own feast. As the sun sets across west Tucson, go out the back door and down a short path and enjoy a swim, a relaxing spa, or perhaps a fire in the fire ring. In the daytime, tennis courts and a shuffle board court complement the aquatic activities. Our house also has a charcoal Weber grill as well as a propane grill for your use and enjoyment. Our home is situated just over the Oro Valley and Tucson city limits making getting around to all parts of Tucson convenient whether a quick trip to Mt. Lemmon, Catalina State Park or to take in historical downtown Tucson. You will find a activities book listing all the wonderful restaurants, hiking trails, shopping and highlights of what’s happening around town.

About Ward and Pam Frost

After Pam lived in Tucson for 30 years she now joins me in making Washington State our home. After a few more years we are planning on eventually coming back to Tucson permanently. We both love flea market treasures, traveling, and of course our kids (OK, dogs).

Our house is conveniently located to all the major areas of Tucson while maintaining the quite desert solitude. Our favorite morning activity is to wake up with breakfast at Tohono Chul and then a walk in the desert at Catalina State park. Major grocery and specialty shops are right around the corner.

Our home is the perfect home away from home both for you and for us. We enjoy the luxury touches that both make us feel like we are in a resort suite, and yet our home. Forget about the blizzards back home, and go for a walk in the desert.

Perfect location to relax and as a base for local travel.

Pros: We love bicycling. This property easily accesses the wonderful Tucson bicycle trail system. (Get a Loop bicycle map upon arrival.) Over one hundred miles of asphalt or concrete paved, divided lane trails. The condo is very close to most of the attractions we visited and access to convenient travel routes was great. We spent a month at the condo and prepared almost all of our breakfast and dinner meals there. Pam's kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware, drinkware, and cookware plus utensils. Everything worked as intended and we had no issues with serviceability. WI-FI, cable, and printer/scanner worked perfectly so it was easy to reconnect to the world upon arrival. We didn't use the charcoal grill, but the gas grill saw significant use. The back garden is large with a huge covered patio. We ate most of our meals on the patio and it was a place to really relax and enjoy the trees, birds, and of course, the sunsets! The clothesline (out of view of the neighbors) was a real plus. Pam has decorated the condo with very interesting artifacts and memorabilia. We spent lots of time enjoying those items.

Cons: the pool water wasn't heated (solar heat) and for Mar-April not pleasant. View of the sunsets was somewhat obstructed by buildings and landscaping.

We would definitely stay here again and have no problem recommending it to anyone who asks!

Superb Location!

This property was better than its description indicated! It was clean, comfortable, pleasantly decorated and the kitchen and bathrooms were clean and well equipped. The owners have obviously thought of those details that make a renter comfortable. They included access to a printer, basic kitchen and laundry amenities and a pass to Catalina State Park, which we used several times. It was really nice to be within 5-10 minutes of grocery stores - Sprouts, Trader Joe and Whole Foods are just a few of those close by. In addition to Catalina State Park, there are several other local hiking trails within a mile or two. Road noise is significant when you are outside of the house, but once inside it is not an issue, particularly in the master bedroom. The DVD player and its connecting hardware have some age on them, so if you want to stream material, bring your own device! We would definitely stay here again...wish it were available for February 2018!

Pam and Ward have created a lovely space. Everything is clean and comfortable.

The immediate neighborhood is quiet but the surrounding roads are busy. There is quick access to grocery stores, restaurants and other commerce. There are also many great hiking trails nearby.

Great Location

Nicely decorated and dog friendly. We were very comfortable during stay. Owners are very friendly and accommodating even though they are long distance. Backyard was very relaxing.

Beautiful home in Oro Valley

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Pam and Frost's home. The home is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had modern amenities. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were more than happy to assist with questions about the local area. I will definitely be visiting their home again on my next trip to visit my grandson!
