The B Side (license #67509): a clean, stylish 2 bedroom, 2 bath rental on a sweet cul-de-sac just steps from a greenbelt entrance and minutes to downtown Austin.

The perfect combo of action and serenity can be found here. Relax in the clean, boho-chic interior, entertain in the private back yard under a canopy of live oaks and festive patio lights, gear up and jog/hike/mountain bike/rock climb on the endless miles of hike and bike trails, just steps from the front door. Make your way to one of the many watering holes along the way or jog/hike your way to Barton Springs Pool (~ 1 mile). Experience all this nature on your way to one of Austin’s renowned festivals at Zilker Park while everyone else is parking miles away!

If you cant get enough, book the neighboring unit as well (VRBO #714066)! This is one side of a duplex, but each side lives like a house separate fenced yards and entrances.

Artfully updated interior with polished concrete floors, quality furnishings, soft linens, clean, fluffy towels and everything you need for an enjoyable stay.


Stylish Queen Bed features a comfy mattress on a platform bedframe, high thread count sheets and velvet/silk duvet. There are 2 closets including a large walk-in closet. French blue antique chest to store your things.

The Second Bedroom is outfitted with 2 twin beds with cozy jersey sheets and colorful bohemian covers and pillows. A mid-century style, marble topped table with lamp is between them. Push the beds together if you prefer! Closet outfitted with drawers and hangers.

Blinds covered with beautiful curtains in both bedrooms allow you to sleep late if you would like. Eclectic art decorates the walls.

Extra guests? Crisp linens and a pillow are provided sleeper sofa.


The Master features a hotel-style bathroom with a tub/shower combo behind the door.

The hall bathroom is directly across from the twin bedroom. There is a tub/shower combo in here as well.

Both bathrooms are stocked clean, fluffy towels, plenty of washcloths and toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner and soap.

There is a washer and dryer set in the hallway.

Pack lightly and wash while you are here!


The fully equipped kitchen features electric appliances, coffee maker, toaster, plenty of dishes, utensils, glasses and cookware. The open concept kitchen/living /dining room makes it easy to entertain. Open up the sliding door and let the outside in or step onto the large deck and enjoy a meal al fresco under the patio lights.

Don’t feel like cooking? You are just steps away from Taco Deli, where you can get the best tacos in Austin for breakfast or lunch! Feeling snacky? The Food Mart across the street has a great selection of snacks, beer and wine and just opened a smoothie/juice/coffee/sandwich/salad bar. Pizza oven and brews on tap coming soon!


With miles of hike and bike trails at your doorstep, the possibilities are endless.

Nice location to Barton Creek

Well equipped place, kitchen and bathrooms. Kitchen had all spices and oils and condiments. Fair (owner) answered questions quickly.

Back deck a nice touch. Very attractive environment in house. We enjoyed our stay in this house. Thanks Fair for making a special trip over to bring the new coffee pot.

The chocolate covered pretzels you gave us were a yummy treat!!!

Outstanding experience in all ways! The property is beautiful and very well-kept. There is a nice backyard with huge shade trees, and lots of places to relax and walk to nearby. The owner (Fair) is outstanding to deal with... very quick to respond to any request, extremely flexible when needed, and always providing nice touches like fresh flowers and snacks. The WiFi connection is very reliable, and the area is nice and quiet for anyone looking to relax. If we had to do it again, we would DEFINETELY come back and stay with Fair... highly recommended! thanks so much!

Clean, cute and great location!

Loved staying here. It was so clean and nicely decorated. The hosts even had coffee, yogurt, fruit, granola, fig bars and fruit in the fridge for us when we arrived! Our kids loved it and asked to move in. The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The location is great. A little grocery and taco joint across the street, and a trailhead to the green belt right around the corner. Our kids loved hiking and exploring the area. Will definitely stay here again, next time with our dog!

Ideal for busiess travelers working downtown

Quick commute to downtown. Comfortable, well-stocked home-away-from-home. Big enough for a project team to work together in the evenings. Kitchen has everything needed to cook (or bring in) for 4-8 people. Immaculately clean. Right on the edge of Zilker park, and a neighborhood grocery is a convenient walk across the street. Reliable wifi. Lovely backyard.
