The villa is located in the hub of the islands tourism area and was refurbished throughout in 2014. The condo will sleep six comfortably and up to eight utilizing a sofa bed.
The master bedroom has a private en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom includes a bathroom which is also accessible from the living room. Each bedroom has its own private balcony through french doors. Both bedrooms have blinds and drapes on all windows and doors for comfortable sleeping. Each bedroom has its own wall mounted, remote controlled air conditioning unit. Ceiling fans and window screens throughout the property assist with cooling.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed, built-in closet with safe and a dresser giving ample storage space. It has a wall mounted LCD TV and a bistro set on the balcony so you can sip your early morning coffee undisturbed. The second bedroom has a full bed and a twin bunk bed. It also has a built in closet, ample storage space, wall mounted LCD TV and a DVD.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and blender. It has a water cooler and drinking water supplied in five gallon containers to keep you hydrated throughout the day. A breakfast bar/island with stools makes for an informal meal setting. For more formal meals there is a round solid wood dining table with place settings for eight.
The living room, dining area and kitchen boast a beautiful vaulted ceiling for an airy feel. The tropical style seating consists of a love seat and sofa bed (which could sleep 2 additional guests if needed). A large decorative chest contains various board games, books and DVDs. An LCD TV and DVD player complete the entertainment options. Cable is available throughout the condo.
French doors take you out to the main balcony. There you will find a large picnic table with bench seating, a barbecue grill and a tall bar complete with cushioned stools. This area is ideal for viewing younger members of the family utilizing the pool and for entertaining.
The community pool is located directly across the condo and it's open for the enjoyment of all guests.
A separate laundry/storage room contains a washer/dryer for your use. You may even find some inflatables for the pool in here!
Wifi internet is available throughout the condo. A cell phone which makes and receives local calls is also provided.
The property is managed by Roatan Property Management, one of the oldest and most reputable professional management company on the island. They handle all aspects of the rental, including transfer to and from the airport. They will ensure your stay is the paradise you dreamed of.
This condo was very nice for the 2 of us. We didn't need the 2nd bedroom. If it were 2 couples staying the 2nd bedroom would have been a little cramped. It has a queen bed and bunkbeds. It would be better suited if you had kids. For us it was perfect. The complex is quiet. The pool was nice. The management company was extremely easy to work with and they went out of their way to reach us to let us know we could check in earlier than originally planned. I would definitely stay here again.
Tips-The produce truck came through the neighborhood every day. Our favorite restaurants-Mexican Grill and Tacos al Pastor. There is a convenience store close to the road to Sunset Villas that was very convenient.
I would be giving this property a 5 out of 5 if it weren't for the horrible treatment we received from the property manager. There was some miscommunication in respect to the time we were to pick up the key for the unit. We had to stop for groceries on the way there and the manager called and proceeded to not listen to a word my daughter was saying about connecting with keys, she then started to scream about it and told us if we didn't leave the store and meet her there immediately we would have to meet her there the next morning! Not sure what she expected us to do in the meantime. She has no customer skills whatsoever and in future I would choose a different management company to rent from. Her name is Stella Marrazitto from Roatan Property Management group. There were other ladies who got locked out of their unit while we were there and asked for us to call the manager. It was 9 pm in the evening and she proceeded to scream at them as well saying ''What do you expect me to do about it" She would not come and assist them until they called a second time over and hour and a half later and then she told them she was too far away but ended up showing up in 10 minutes. We found out she lives about 5 minutes away and although she may have been out for the evening she certainly could have sent someone else who worked for her. The property is beautiful and well kept and a pleasure to stay in, super well equipped, everything one needs to have a great holiday. Location is perfect, you can walk to all the sights of West End and is if very quiet there.
Not a party place, excellent for people looking for rest, relaxation, sun, scuba diving, can get along without a car, lots of restaurants with variety of foods & street food vendors, friendly local people not pushy, ask if credit card is taken without extra taxes. Place we stayed was clean, spacious, ambly stocked with kitchen utensils, manager people were very helpful, great location to pool, water & fresh vegetables & fruit at door, internet slow but adequate, careful with downloads because will use up internet quickly ie do not use netflix facebook or skype.
Sunset Villas is ideally located in a quiet, safe resort community. The resort has no through traffic which enhances the privacy. It offers a community pool for the enjoyment of all the guests.
It is a short walk to West End village where you'll find a variety of shops, restaurants and bars. Most of the islands dive operators are located here. No need for a car!
It is less than one minute to West End Beach and a ten minute water taxi trip to West Bay Beach, which is considered one of the best beaches in the Caribbean.
The reef runs the entire length of the island and its close proximity to the shore makes it ideal for snorkeling and diving.

Unless paid through Homeaway, we'll collect $ 500 security deposit in cash upon arrival. It will be returned upon satisfactory check-out no later than 10 days after check-out.
There are no refunds due to cancellations, though we will allow a credit to be used for future booking if cancellation is made before 60 days prior to arrival; this must be used within six months of original reservation.
