Fully equipped luxury town home is directly across US-40 from Winter Park Base (2nd entrance). Located in the Lakota subdivision where you can walk to base of Winter Park, this three bedroom, three bath town home on three separate levels has fantastic views of Winter Park. Rapidly becoming a four season getaway, Winter Park offers something for everyone, whether it be skiing, hiking, biking or simply relaxing in a spectacular setting. Lakota is just minutes (via foot, bike OR car) from the National Forest access point. It also is about two miles from downtown Winter Park.

The town home is an Elk unit and is approximately 1900 square feet on three levels. It will sleep nine comfortably.

The entry level has an oversize, heated garage with ski and snowboard storage. There is also a longer driveway, perfect for parking addititional vehicles. There is a laundry room with a washer & dryer (iron & ironing board) on the main floor plus a large 'boot bench' area where you can get ready for your daily activities, plus multiple closets and coat hooks for storage.

The main level has a large open floor plan with a great room with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. The great room has a cozy fireplace and lots of seating for watching large screen, wall mounted TV with Direct TV/DVR & DVD player, playing games, chatting or enjoying the spectacular views of the Winter Park ski resort. There is an entrance to a huge elevated deck. The deck also has those great views of Winter Park ski area, its own large, private hot tub and and a gas grill. The main level also houses the the fully equipped kitchen (all the basics, plus, mixer, blender, electric griddle, etc.) and dining room (seats 9) and powder room. The main level also features a large master bedroom with a walk in closet and 5 piece master bath with jetted tub.

We have an armoire filled with games, toys, puzzles, etc. for use by our guests (both kids and adults)

On the upper level, there is a loft area with a desk with a printer/copier/fax machine, a large full bathroom and two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed with a TV/DVD player. The other bedroom has a set of bunk beds with a trundle. Both bedrooms have overhead ceiling fans with lights. The unit has radiant heating so no cold feet in the morning.

The town home is just minutes away from the Fraser Valley Rec Center which is a full service health club with a pool with a water slide, whirlpool, lap pool and indoor hot tub. It also has a great workout area with treadmills, elliptical trainers, bikes, weights, an indoor running track, a climbing wall, full locker rooms and so much more. This is agreat addition to the Winter Park/Fraser area for apres ski activities!!

We keep our town home stocked with necessities like linens (including beach towels for the hot tub and/or Rec Center), paper products, laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher soap, trash bags, etc. so you don't have to worry about having those items.

About Thomas Cummings

The unit is owned by 1 family who lives in Denver. Our family loves to get away to the mountains. Winter Park is a quick drive from Denver but makes us feel miles away. The adults and kids love to ski and snowboard and Winter Park is a great place for it. The champagne powder and lack of crowds make Winter Park and Mary Jane a popular spot with all of us.

We also love Winter Park in the off seasons. The summer is great for activities at the Winter Park base (Mountain biking, the alpine slide, climbing the rock wall, miniature golf, the trampoline/bungee cord and the maze are great). Hiking and wildlife viewing are great in Rocky Mountain National Park. There are lots of great places to golf and bike. Boating on Grand Lake, Grandby or Shadow Mountain Lake is lots of fun, too.

Spring is the best for wildflowers and the fall is wonderful for viewing fall colors.

We love the location! It is close enough to walk to the Winter Park base area. We nearly always walk in the summer. In the winter with our ski equipment, we usually shuttle or drive. We park at the free parking lots at Utah, Corona or Maryjane base lot on the Maryjane side or at the Vintage (hotel) lot on the Winter

What makes this townhome unique

It is so close to everything. Close to the Winter Park and Mary Jane base areas, close to the town of Winter Park and close to Denver. We are really enjoying the Rec Center for both working out and playing!!!!
