Originally built by Albert Simpson in 1928, this oak framed typical Arkansas bungalow has been fully remodeled and upgraded while preserving parts of its quirky originality. It has an Arkansas stone fireplace in the dining room, now converted to gas with remote on and off. The kitchen and three other rooms can be cozy or opened to create an open floor plan which is light, relaxing and conducive to entertaining.
There are two bedrooms, both with queen beds. The Yellow Bedroom has a built in office desk. The bedding features hypoallergenic down comforters designed to replace the top sheet and blanket.
Enjoy the heated tile floors in both Bathrooms. One bathroom has the option of being shared between the two bedrooms, thus creating a bedroom & office suite for the business traveler.
There is also a four season glass addition, with a heated tile floor, facing out onto the southern fields where you might see deer or coyotes while you enjoy your morning coffee.
Enjoy the Western facing front porch swing. Nostalgia for a by-gone era!
Close to town, yet still in nature, on the plateaus of the Ozark Mountains, the backyard is 1.5 acres overlooking 30 acres and the Ozark Mountain skyline in winter. It is private and very quiet.
