Originally built by Albert Simpson in 1928, this oak framed typical Arkansas bungalow has been fully remodeled and upgraded while preserving parts of its quirky originality. It has an Arkansas stone fireplace in the dining room, now converted to gas with remote on and off. The kitchen and three other rooms can be cozy or opened to create an open floor plan which is light, relaxing and conducive to entertaining.
There are two bedrooms, both with queen beds. The Yellow Bedroom has a built in office desk. The bedding features hypoallergenic down comforters designed to replace the top sheet and blanket.
Enjoy the heated tile floors in both Bathrooms. One bathroom has the option of being shared between the two bedrooms, thus creating a bedroom & office suite for the business traveler.
There is also a four season glass addition, with a heated tile floor, facing out onto the southern fields where you might see deer or coyotes while you enjoy your morning coffee.
Enjoy the Western facing front porch swing. Nostalgia for a by-gone era!
Close to town, yet still in nature, on the plateaus of the Ozark Mountains, the backyard is 1.5 acres overlooking 30 acres and the Ozark Mountain skyline in winter. It is private and very quiet.
This home also makes an ideal longer term stay for guest professors visiting the University of Arkansas, Healthcare professionals working with Willow Creek , Mercy. or Children's Hospitals, and Walmart and Tyson visiting representatives. About Property Manager
Wayne and Kimberley Kuenzel have been residents of Fayetteville, Arkansas for 19 years. Wayne is a professor of Avian Neuroscience at the University of Arkansas, Kimberley is an Avian Taxidermist/ volunteer tutor at the University. They have three grown children.
Property Manager purchased this Bungalow in 2012
Why Property Manager chose Tontitown
These 1.5 acres originally belonged to the adjoining 17 acres of the Kuenzel property and became available to be once more included in the whole tract, in 2012. On the land, was a neglected bungalow of little or no value. Its fate hung in the balance for three months as we debated whether to restore it or raze it. A neighbor informed us of its unique heritage to the Stony Point area. ...We decided to preserve its historicity.
What makes this Bungalow unique
Watch the sun rise through the sliding doors of the master bedroom or watch sunset from the West-facing front porch swing. Amazing glass addition on the south side with a heated floor. Listen to the whinny of horses and watch them graze in the neighboring pastures. Quiet, quiet, quiet surroundings.

Comfortable, updated and renovated, sweet and unforgettable. Stay here for a wonderful experience!
We really can't say enough about our stay at the Katie Pearl house. Kimberly and Jessica were super accommodating, gracious hosts. We LOVED this house- comfortable, warm and inviting, great appliances and kitchen-and the bathrooms are beautiful. The bedrooms are beautiful and the beds are really comfortable. Oh, and for bird watchers - bluebirds! The Sunroom was our favorite. It was hard to leave and go home!! We look forward to our next visit.
Very quaint home with lovely touches like the heated floors in the bathrooms and conservatory!
We found Pearl bungalow to be a lovely and peaceful home. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Close to Springdale and Fayetteville as well as area attractions and shops. It was nice to watch the wild life as we had our breakfast and to walk around the fields. We would recommend this home for other families or a couples get away!
The little Bungalow has a great deal of charm. The gas fireplace adds warmth and atmosphere.
We found that the heated tile of the glass sunroom allowed us to enjoy our morning coffee out there. During our stay, the weather outside was cold (about 30 degrees). The temperature in the sunroom was often nearly 70 degrees in the early mornings, and easily 80 degrees by noon.
We basked in it!
We so love this little bungalow that we intend to keep living here
My wife and I stayed here a week in the springtime. I have family here and we had a family gathering with about 16 or 18 guests. The house is plenty big for this large a group. The kitchen stove is great. Large prep area and 2 dining areas. The showers are different and in a good way (artsy). We only slept in 1 bed but it was comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
This cute house was perfect for my stay in Arkansas It is centrally located for visiting and sightseeing Springdale, Fayetteville, Bentonville, Rogers, the lakes and everything surrounding. The kitchen had everything needed for enjoying family meals together. The beds are so comfortable I never had a bad nights rest. I really felt like I was staying in a friends home. Sitting out on the deck enjoying nature I was so excited when I made friends with a little deer that came by every day.
