Very Pretty Brand New Apartment. Sleeps 4

Wonderful apartment which allowed us to be very comfortable for our 10 day stay July 18. Kids loved the pool and very easy to reach the local town (with a car). Would highly recommend.

The apartment was perfect for my wife and I. Well located and very well equipped, we had everything we needed for a most enjoyable week. Weather was perfect and lots to see and do nearby, but a car is essential for getting around. Unfortunately, we were unable to connect with wifi in the apartment. Many thanks to Catherine for being most helpful and communicative.

A fabulous week away from it all in a lovely apartment in stunning La Herradura. The apartment has everything you could need, there's a gorgeous pool, and the beach with lots of fabulous restaurants a 2 minute drive away. The owner Catherine is extremely helpful and friendly, as is her Housekeeper Ebelia. A wonderful week away and somewhere we plan to return to

This is a modern and spacious apartment in La Herradura with two reasonably sized bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open plan kitchen/diner/lounge area. With a four year old we prefer holidaying in apartments rather than hotels and this place suited us great. In the evenings we were able to sit out on the large covered balcony which catches the sun from late afternoon and looks out towards the sea. There's a decent size flat screen TV in the lounge with British satellite channels plus a DVD player should you want to travel with some films in hand, will take a USB drive.

The kitchen is really well appointed with more cooking equipment than we've ever had in an apartment. There's also a separate utility area with a sink and washing machine - recommend packing light and bringing a couple of washing tablets with you.

Our son loved the large communal swimming pools, there's a smaller splash type pool for younger children and a larger one for bigger kids and adults. During our stay there were rarely more than six others at the pool at any one time despite the size of the complex.

The downside of the apartment is it's not exactly close to the main town so with a young child expect to drive if going to the beach or out for food. If you're happy to do the walk down the hillside there are a couple of decent restaurants that end of the sea front which are worth a visit. Also don't rely on the WiFi for connectivity, across three different devices we only stayed connected for twenty minutes at a time whilst on one side of the bed in the main bedroom and then it was a slow speed. There is great 4G strength though so bundle up and trust that instead.

La Herradura feels very much like a resort visited by the Spanish and we found very few people spoke English in shops or restaurants unlike some other parts of this coastline. It's worthwhile brushing up on your basic Spanish before coming out.... Don't be perturbed by the accommodation details being written in Spanish the owner is English and easy to communicate with we had emails, calls and texts all answered quickly.

Would we come back - certainly.
