Faces tell the whole story. Jaws drop. Eyes widen. Grins curl from ear-to-ear. In short order a look appears that says, 'This is even better than I expected. I made the perfect choice.'
When voices are found, there's amazement over the location impossibly situated between cliff and sea. Pelicans soaring over golden sands and sailboats scooting across blue waves. Infinity edge pools with swim-up dining. White-canvassed cabanas complete with poolside massages. And a seasoned staff who wait, hands folded, for the next opportunity to serve.
Thoughtfulness and thoroughness are the trademarks of the Grand Solmar. Every detail was considered right down to the intricate designs in the walkways, the stone entries to the rooms and the subterranean passages for the staff.
This is an exciting new property, an elevated standard of luxury and an undeniable chance to be left speechless. Why not let your fingers do the talking and book a reservation today.

Beautiful Resort with great service
A Truly Special Resort
My wife and I came for the first time to the Grand Solmar last September and marveled at the outstanding accommodations, the exceptional customer service and the beauty that surrounded us. It's much the same on this trip. We did figure out a few things to reduce costs; dining out in the town and purchasing my beloved Cuban cigars there as well saved us plenty.
The food was hit or miss this time, however. I had a snapper fillet that was not fresh and overwhelming salty. The onion rings at Las Brisas were soggy with oil and the size of the salads were minuscule in every restaurant.
Don Luis served me a delicious rib eye steak and the churrasco night at Don Luis was excellent as well.
The Sunday brunch at La Roca wasn't worth the money. We found a place in town, Mama's Royal Cafe, which was fantastic and reasonable.
Overall, the room, the views of the Pacific Ocean, the infinity pools were a delight. We'll be back again.
