Wonderful location and property!!
We had a wonderful time here! The home is beautiful, better than pictured!! The beach side fire pit was so relaxing. This property is perfectly located! We would love to return!
Everything was as advertised, absolutely beautiful grounds on westbay. Clean as a whistle and comfortable.
Relaxing and beautiful!
We had a great time!! The view of the lake and the beach and yard were amazimg! Comfortable house that had everything we needed. Hope to return!!
Most beautiful picturesque setting impossible to duplicate. With that being said, the house is in need of updates.
Positives: Fire Pit-Beach-Sunrises-Privacy of Property-Wonderful location between Sutton Bay and Traverse City- Remodeled Kitchen fully stocked-Useable garage-Ample Parking in Driveway- Cable TV & Wireless reception excellent- Lovely back patio with plenty of furniture- Ample firewood for the firepit provided.
Negatives- Distinct odor from one of the closets (upon check in) in bedroom, was addressed by owner once notified of problem- Even though upgrades have been completed on the house bathrooms and bedrooms need to be addressed. Due to warmer weather than usual the lack of ventilation thru out the house unless there was a breeze was unbearable. Fans were supplied in each bedroom but that did not correct the excessive temperatures in the home. Electrical thru out the home needs to updated, most of the plugs were not operable in the bedrooms.
Spacious, beautiful beach
My wife and 3 small children had a wonderful week at this beautiful house. The beach is perfect for small kids. Somehow the pictures online do not accurately convey how spacious the house and property are. We had more than enough space and plenty of privacy. We hope to return next summer!
We had a great stay at this home on the Bay between Traverse City and Sutton’s Bay. The views are great from the house and back yard.
The house has plenty of room. The bedrooms are a nice size, and comfortable—two look out on the bay.
The kitchen is well equipped, the dining room has a nice table where you can eat or play games, and the living room has comfortable seating for visiting and relaxing.
Some of the house has features that are dated, but we found it very clean, and it suited our needs perfectly.
The property is conveniently located half way between Traverse City and Suttons Bay (about 7 miles to each) with easy access to festivals, restaurants, the tart trail, sleeping bear dunes, empire and much more. It is located on 5 acres with large lawns for sports and games, an amazing view of power island, and 400 feet of frontage.
