Oceanfront 2 bed 2.5 bath villa with amazing ocean views and over 2 miles of private beach on Harbor Island, SC. This 2-level unit is located on the 2nd floor of the Oceanfront D-building in the Cedar Reef Villas complex. High speed WiFi is included for the unit.

The bedrooms are on the top floor to sleep 5. There is a Tempur-Pedic king bed in the oceanfront master bedroom and a queen bed and a twin bed in the 2nd bedroom. Each bedroom has its own flat screen TV and en suite bathroom with shower and tub.

The kitchen, dining and living areas are on the first floor with a full size washer and dryer, flat screen TV, DVD player, landline phone and half bath.

Enjoy the morning sunrise from the balcony located off the living area. The balcony has a table, umbrella, and chairs. Nothing in between you and the ocean but dunes.

Walk along over 2 miles of private beach in this gated community. Beach is quiet, not crowded, but plenty of seagulls, pelicans and dolphins. A place to get away from it all.

Included in this rental is access to the Harbor Island Beach and Racquet Club. The club has a large lap pool, a kiddie pool, gym with cardio machines and weights, tennis courts, basketball court, sand volleyball court, playground, horseshoes, shuffleboard, putting green, WiFi and the Turtle's Nest store for bike rentals, snacks, drinks and souvenirs.

You can fish right from the beach in the surf or tidal pools, and there is a crabbing/fishing dock available for guest use near the entrance. There is also a fishing pier at Hunting Island State Park which is about 5 minutes away (a SC State Park).

Nearby you can find golf, kayak rentals, restaurants, bars and grocery stores.

Perfect week-long escape for the family

Well-decorated, but comfortable condo immediately on the boardwalk. Great setup for families with two bed & bath suites upstairs - one king bed, and one with a double + single. Minor housekeeping issues (burned out light bulb & some inquisitive sugar ants) were dealt with promptly and cheerfully by the property managers on day 1. But the best part was the unique beach that was ideal for our two boys (5 & 7), with 100+ feet of sandbar exposed at low tide all along the length of the beach that made for great exploring. We lost track of how many hermit crabs we found & the kids wanted to know when we would be back! It's a short walk to the clubhouse which has a large pool - or there's a smaller pool available a bit closer.

Seaside rest and relaxation with great views!

Very clean, comfortable and spacious condo/townhouse - with everything we needed for our stay. Kitchen was well-equipped - especially appreciated the washer/dryer! Large master bedroom with king bed and great storage for clothing, etc. Very convenient to have sink/vanity in the bedroom area with separate shower and WC. The other bed/bath appears to be identical size/setup, except with two beds. The view from living room and master bedroom was spectacular - easy and fast access to the beach. Check-in was fast and easy - we arrived after business hours and had no trouble following the directions that were sent to us. Rob (owner) responded very promptly to any questions we had and could not have been more congenial. We have already recommended this place to friends and relatives and we would not hesitate to stay here again!

Wonderful property!

We really enjoyed our stay on Harbor Island. We've visited the island multiple times, and this condo, by far, was one of the best we've rented. It was incredibly clean and very well maintained with everything we needed for our stay. Beautiful views were a huge bonus! We will definitely be back.

Great semi-private getaway

My wife, 2 year old, and parents visited harbor island for an extended weekend. The beach/location itself is very nice and secluded. The first day we got there, there were only 2 other families on the beach. The rest of the vacation was very similar, with no more than 15 people in the same general vicinity. Definitely not your normal tourist destination so its a great area to get away from the crowds. The sand is a bit different than most beaches. It seemed very silty and "muddy" feeling, with your feet sinking into the sand in some areas. Not a big deal to us but just a heads up.

The actual condo was well maintained and more than suited our needs. Its a little cozy inside, but for us we spend very little time indoors when we vacation so it wasn't a big deal. Great views from the bedroom facing the beach. The walk to the beach wasn't too bad. Our two year old easily walked it. Relatively close to Beaufort (15-20 min drive), which is a very pretty area. All in all a great vacation at a spot thats not your typical tourist attraction.

Wonderful Location

We had a wonderful vacation to Harbor Island. The condo was clean and spacious. The view was stunning. The beach was gorgeous and filled with wildlife and never crowded. I can't think of anything I would change!

Local fish companies and farm markets are close by to purchase freshly caught shrimp, fish, fruits, and vegetables.

Hunting Island State Park is 5 minutes away and offers hiking, a lighthouse tour, geocaching, nature programs, fishing, crabbing, etc. (SC State Park Passport Plus placard is available in the unit to use during your rental for park and lighthouse entry)

Many nearby golf courses, marinas, art galleries and restaurants.

Downtown Beaufort offers a waterfront park, night life, historic tours, and quaint shops.

This villa is managed by an on-island property manager which handles our rental contracts, billings and any maintenance that is needed during your visit.

Additional Charges:
Cleaning Fee – $90 per stay - Housekeeping comes before guests check in and after guests check out. A welcome package contains a small amount of coffee, cream, sugar, dishwashing & dishwasher soap.

Taxes – 10% (7% South Carolina Sales & Use Tax + 3% Beaufort County Accommodation Tax – note: taxes are exempt for stays over 90 days)

Car/Boat Pass Fee is charged by the Harbor Island Owners Association and varies depending on length of stay (updated as of 10/31/16) - 1 night $11.55, 2 nights $23.10, 3 nights $34.65, 4 nights $46.20, 5 nights $57.75, 6-7 nights $69.30, 8-14 nights $70.00, 15-21 nights $73.00, 22-30 nights $78.00, 31-90 $87.00, 91-364 nights $105.00)

Rental Terms: A credit card deposit of 30% of the total amount due is required to confirm the reservation, and the balance is due at check-in. For after-hours check-ins, the balance is due the first working day after your check-in date. Final payment can be made by credit card or personal check to our property management company.

Manager's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
