The house overall was exactly what we expected and it was perfect for what we were needing! It had a large and open-concept kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 9 total beds, and plenty of space for our 13 adults. The outdoor hot tub was especially nice for relaxing sore muscles after a full day of skiing. It had all amenities we needed except for shower soap and shampoo (which was expected) so be sure to bring your own. The house was perfect for hanging out after the skiing hours and for the price it was a great selection compared to other VRBO houses in the same area. On the nights we wanted to go out into town, a cab or Uber ride was only $7-$15. The owner was very easy to work with and gaining access to the house was hassle-free. The only word of caution is regarding the ski-in and ski-out. Skiing out was very easy. You had to walk down the street about 200 yards to find a short trail to lead to the slopes. Skiing in was slightly more difficult just because Peak 10 has only black diamonds which made it tough for some of our less advanced skiers. The trail from Peak 10 to the house was also difficult for the snowboarders as there are a couple of dead spots, but overall it was fairly easy to navigate. At some points on the ski-in trail, I felt like I was pulling myself uphill, but if I didn't want to take the uphill route to the house I could just go a little further down the trail and end up at the same spot we dropped in. Overall, this was an excellent find for us and we would definitely book it again!
Thanks so much for the review . We are happy that you enjoyed your stay. I apologize if our explanation for skiing out was not clear. You can walk out the back of the house to the back of the yard and ski down. You are correct that there is a posted trail entrance down the street but it not necessary to enter from that point.
