The apartment sits one block back from the beautiful beach at Spittal along a pedestrian lane. Its a wonderful place for a stroll and if you're feeling very brave a swim in the bracing waters of the North Sea! The apartment is in a largely residential area but there are some great pubs to enjoy only a short walk away. Berwick is a historic border town which has retained its individuality and charm with its age-old street market, quaint family run shops and boutiques and authentic pubs and ale-houses. There are many lovely restaurants offering wonderful locally sourced produce including cheeses, game and shellfish. Enjoy exploring the Elizabethan walls or follow in the footsteps of the artist L.S. Lowry and amble along the Lowry Trail. Conveniently located for exploring both the stunning North Northumbrian coastline of Lindisfarne (Holy Island), Seahouses and the Farne Islands Seal Colony as well as the dramatic cliffs and beaches of St Abb's Head Nature Reserve.
