Great house, awesome location
What a great little town and house. We loved skiing lookout mt and Silver Mountain and ran the Pulaski trail right from the house.
Cozy house, easy walk to restaurants and shops.
We have stayed here a couple times for races at Lookout Pass Ski Area. It is conveniently located with ample space for our family.
Perfect Location for Downtown Stay
We were in town for a family wedding at the Catholic church, followed by a reception at the Elks. This location was perfect and within very easy walking distance of all of the festivities plus everything else we needed while in town. The owners have beautifully remodeled this old home and it is comfortable and inviting. The stairs would be difficult for some people, both inside and outside the house, so just one thing to keep in mind. The only thing we needed that was not provided was an iron and ironing board to prep for the wedding. Other than that, everything we could possibly need was in the home and easy to locate. All three couples and our teenager really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home!
For the third year I have stayed at the Banker during the last weekend of the Hiawatha trail being open. This house is the best. The location is perfect, the house is so well maintained and stocked! I know we will be back again next year.
I highly recommend this rental! Thank you!
Hi Gail! Thank you so much for your kind words. As always we appreciate you staying at the Banker house and we look forward to having you back next year. Thank you for taking such great care of our place.
Great town, accommodating house, close to lots of recreation!
We had a great time in the Wallace area, hiking the Pulaski trail, biking the Hiawatha, swimming in the city pool, laughing at the Sixth Street Melodrama, and enjoying the many great shops, museums, restaurants, and silver mine tour within walking distance of the "Banker" house. Lots of interesting history!
The house itself was clean and well stocked. I believe they must be counting the garage when they listed 2,000 sq ft. The floors and doors are very squeaky and creaky, but I guess that is to be expected of an older house built on a slope.
Loved the view from the dining room and kitchen!
We are very happy you enjoyed the house and your trip. Although the house has been remodeled you are correct it has a few creaks. Believe it or not the house was actually built in 1905. The square footage, as our prints show is actually without the garage. It might be deceiving with the laundry and bathroom on the other side of the kitchen. Please email my wife or me if there anything we can add to improve your experience for the next time. We hope you will come back in the near future. Nate.j.lay at gmail
