Charming cabin, great location
Lovely cabin with all the necessary amenities! Walk to downtown Twain Harte. Owner Brian very accommodating !
Highly recommended for a weekend stay or longer vacation !
Clean, filled with charm and just enough upgrades.
Kitchen had enough tools and upgrades to feed 8.
Rooms were big enough.
Back deck had plenty of tables and chairs to have a nice time.
A little more privacy in the back would be nice.
Had a nice stay here over Christmas!
The cabin is cute, clean and comfortable. The kitchen and bath have recently been remodeled and are very nice. Overall, a nice place to stay. The owner was responsive and we communicated via email but he did provide his phone number also. Brian is a very nice guy and I would recommend this cabin for that classic Twain Harte experience. Note- It is up a short hill, so be prepared with chains or a 4x4 if it is snowing hard...
Brian, the owner was very accommodating and accessible for my 12 y.o. daughter and I to get away on a last minute whim. The cabin is a great location just minutes walking distance to downtown Twain Harte. We enjoyed walking to the Rock for some food and drink and then a fun match of pee wee golf afterwards. The cabin has Twain Harte lake access, which is great to cool down at the lake and do some tricks off the diving boards. The newly renovated kitchen with washer and dryer are great and convenient. Sitting out on the deck with gazebo was relaxing and a perfect ending to a long day at the lake.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was more than happy with the location.
The vacation rental was very clean.
The property manager was very helpful.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Activities abound at the quaint town of Twain Harte centrally located at the Sonora Pass. Take a swim in beautiful Twain Harte Lake and go hiking on the gigantic rock adjacent to the dam at the west view side of Twain Harte Lake. Take a canoe or sail boat ride, or catch a game of ping pong, shuffleboard or volleyball! Great biking trails adjacent to lake Don Pedro just a few miles away! Wineries are throughout the region , a favorite is Ironstone located in the town of Murphy's, CA, just a short 40 minute drive. Go zip lining or explore the deep caverns. Catch an outdoor movie at Twain Harte or Pinecrest . Outdoor festivals are frequent during the summer and fall seasons and concerts in the park on Friday evenings , too! Antiquing available in local towns and Black Oak Casino in Tuolumne, CA is just 10 miles away. The fisherman in the family will have plenty of spots to cast their line and horseback riding is available at nearby Lazy Z Resort. Want to become an urban cowboy? Head up to Kennedy Meadows and take the cattle out to the acreage in the spring, or, round the cattle up in the fall, all with the guidance of local ranchers. Wintertime activities include Dodge Ridge Ski resort, exploring Yosemite all through seasons changes, sledding at Strawberry or heading a few miles east to Leland Snowplay Park.
