Overview

About the property

Three Story Lakehouse for an Unforgettable Lake Experience

I tried to write a overview of this lovely property but couldn't say it any better than the note I found on the kitchen table after one vacationer left.

"One week ago when we walked through the front door, I stood in the doorway and was utterly stunned! It was more than even the pictures portrayed. It’s the best house in the bay! I like it that its not cloistered by many trees as some seem to be. Oh how we have enjoyed to the fullest the early morning on our own dock and as the day progressed the sights and sounds of the vast array of boats and people at the bar and grill nearby. Weekends are lively but as the parents of five and the grandparents of nine we felt right at home.

We have gone to Coeur d’Alene twice and Harrison briefly two times and have stayed here totally the rest of the week needing nothing more! This place has it all. It is so cheery- so comfortable and so beautiful. Who needs Hawaii or a cruise- passports and custom hassles and long tiring trips etc., etc…..when this place provides everything and more?

We’re sorry we have to go home (Seattle area) today. We wish this place was our own-we hope to return and would also love for our kids and grand kids to enjoy it here someday too." Thank you! Jan............P.S. my husband concurs!"

Built in 2013, our three floor cottage is right on the lake, giving you access to our private dock and lovely lawn. The cottage is 1500 square feet over its three floors and features a 150 sqft. upper level deck.

The upper floor great room includes living area, kitchen, half bath, and access to deck over looking lake view panorama.

Middle level includes a day room (with sleeping bed and sofa bed), a small bedroom (queen bed), a washer/dryer alcove and complete bathroom, this level also has a lake view panorama from the day room and the bedroom.

The lower level consists of a roomy bedroom(queen bed and sofa) with full bathroom.

The home includes just off Highway parking for 2 (or 3) vehicles with lawn area and overlook of county park and Carlin Bay Resort Marina.

The parking area provides easy, same level access to the main living area at the upper level. The beach area includes 60 feet private lake frontage adjacent to150 feet of public beach, a 10'x30' private dock, together with access to the adjacent county public park.

This cottage is at the heart of Carlin Bay with lots of swimming and boating potential and a complete bar/restaurant 200 feet away. The adjacent Park resources include a fee boat launch ramp, public beach, public dock , fee boat trailer parking area, and a large picnic area. Cabin has access to the public park/picnic area in addition to the public beach. County provided boat trailer parking for a fee is across the highway and is available to service the County's public boat launch. Your kids and dogs will love this place

No smoking on the premises. Wi-fi available.

Great view!

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here for two nights last week and loved it! Owner was very flexible and worked with us when our flights got delayed. House is in a perfect location with a beautiful view over Lake Coeur d'Alene! Easy to get to Coeur d'Alene where we enjoyed a float plane ride, boat ride over the lake, Father's Day brunch at the resort. Everything about house was as advertised and very nice!! Would highly recommend!

Amazing View

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed staying at this place. The view was beautiful and we had a lot of fun hanging out on the private dock. I marked it down a star because the second bedroom is located in a dark, musty basement type area. We all stayed on the second floor instead where there is a front area with a pull out bed. Not the most comfortable but the view and location made up for any inconvenience.

Awesome views of Lake Couer d'Alene

  • 5 of 5

Owner Jerry was a huge help, always available for any questions or needs we had. House was clean and as you walk in the door the view takes over! Launch ramp right next to the property was a huge plus.
