This private sanctuary has excellent natural light and the thoughtful re-design creates a spacious, open floor plan.

The 2 bedroom 2b bath unit offers king and queen pillow top mattresses, wonderful down bedding, and distinctive comfortable furnishings. The large kitchen with island has generous storage, gas stove, Bosch d/w, and stainless refrig. Large capacity w/d in unit. With thoughtful finishes and incredible attention to detail throughout, this is truly a distinctive urban residence. Ideally located between Broadway and 15th Ave, this property is close to bus, SCCC, Cal Anderson park, shopping, numerous restaurants. With Traders Joe's, Madison Market, Safeway, QFC, Walgreens, Bartell Drugs, all within 5 blocks, the convenience of 1629 13th location makes it the perfect home base for a Seattle stay.

Onsite-parking, available for $15 night, must be reserved in ADVANCE of your stay. Parking reservation requests are accommodated on a first come first serve basis. Because onsite parking is limited, we highly recommend guests make arrangements when booking. Upon arrival, it is helpful to have guests provide vehicle license info upon so we can assure only authorized vehicles park on the property.

About Owner/Manager

As a Seattle native, I've spent my life exploring diverse passions: music, architecture, travel, fitness, delicious meals, and a love of world cultures. They have each influenced the creation of an oasis in Seattle's Capitol Hill urban neighborhood. Transformed with the help of a friend in 2003, a thoughful redesign and 1200 sf addition transformed this 1901 structure into a creative project that kick started my Seattle based design-build business. Travels in South Asia, Mexico, and northern Europe have afforded me many opportunities to explore the world and build lifetime relationships and a positive perspective that guides my current vocation as a Pilates Instructor and health enthusiast. From good eats to performance venues, you can always find me enjoying the company of others and partaking of the amazing offering Seattle provides it guests.

Beautifully presented and generously hosted Capitol Hill base

We took this property as a five day base while we attended my daughter's wedding.

The location is excellent and at the house pleasingly secluded.

The standard of the accommodation and its presentation were excellent. Most impressive of all, our host was courtesy itself– both helpful and understanding.

We stayed at this home while moving our daughter to Seattle. It was perfect. Clean and a supreme location on Capital Hill. Close to everything. Leave your car at home, you won't need it and parking is impossible. Will definitely stay here the next time we're in Seattle.
