About Owner/Manager

As a Seattle native, I've spent my life exploring diverse passions: music, architecture, travel, fitness, delicious meals, and a love of world cultures. They have each influenced the creation of an oasis in Seattle's Capitol Hill urban neighborhood. Transformed with the help of a friend in 2003, a thoughful redesign and 1200 sf addition transformed this 1901 structure into a creative project that kick started my Seattle based design-build business. Travels in South Asia, Mexico, and northern Europe have afforded me many opportunities to explore the world and build lifetime relationships and a positive perspective that guides my current vocation as a Pilates Instructor and health enthusiast. From good eats to performance venues, you can always find me enjoying the company of others and partaking of the amazing offering Seattle provides it guests.

Why Owner/Manager chose Seattle

Capitol Hill is one of the fastest growing, eclectic , and accessible Seattle neighborhoods. Whether haute cuisine or happy hour, exciting night spots or specialty shopping, 1629th is a great jumping off point with Pike's Place Market and Pacific Place Shopping Center just down the Hill.

Located just blocks from Pike, Pine, and Broadway, with a walkscore of 98, this unit is perfectly situated for easily accessing all of Downtown Seattle's major attractions, while still offering you a sense of privacy inside the bustling city.

Public transportation is easily accessed, with major bus lines just blocks away on Pine and Pike Streets, and the newly opened light rail stop that can take you straight to downtown or the University District in just minutes. Definitely the fastest and easiest way to get to and from Seatac airport as well.

Superb accommodations in Seattle.

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful stay in Seattle! We are 6 people, and took both the upstairs B unit and Downstairs A unit. Worked great for us, and with the enclosed Garden we had our own private hideout. Upstairs unit lots of charm, with huge porch and fun upper loft area, kids loved it. Downstairs unit with spacious living room and 2 proper bedrooms. Owner Scott, was very accommodating. I was traveling with a large vehicle, and he helped arange parking for the car in the neighborhood. He also was kind enough to recieve and store a fed ex package prior to our arrival . Capitol Hill is well located to all points of interest. Neighborhood is vibrant and full of personality. Strongly recommend this accommodation, and would definitely make use of it again on our next visit to Seattle.

I recommend this condo and would return

  • 5 of 5

Great location in Capital Hill. Easy walk to downtown waterfront or about 10 minute walk to Seattle's only subway line. We found the accommodations exactly as described on the website and very clean. Scott and Ryan always responded quickly with any requests for information or anything else. Make sure to visit nearby Skillet restaurant for breakfast. We didn't have a car so I can't recommend where to park.

Great!

  • 4 of 5

Comfortable 2 BR apartment in lovely older Capital Hill neighborhood. Good beds, kitchen, easy to live in and have our adult children over to visit. We were there for an early Christmas and were planning to have our first Christmas without a tree, but when we opened the door there was a small tabletop tree lit up and decorations around the apartment which we loved. It is easy walking distance to lots of good areas and the pond and teahouse in front are great. Nice to have a covered porch too, as we were there on a rainy weekend. Really liked this place.

Good Stay in Seattle

  • 4 of 5

This is an attractive house , ideally located on Capitol Hill. We were warm, dry and comfortable for a week.

An easy to walk to restaurants, book stores, drug stores and close to several hospitals. Would definitely recommend renting here.

Wedding Rental

  • 5 of 5

Superb, just superb! Scott & Ryan were outstanding hosts. Very responsive to any and all requests. The home was very clean, nicely appointed, beds comfortable, adequate linens, washer and dryer in the unit and had a large T.V. As a licensed real estate agent solely doing property management my expectations are quite high and I was impressed with all facets of the reservation process from the onset. Should I have a need to return to the Capitol Hill area of Seattle for another visit, I would contacts these owners without ever looking elsewhere. It was a fantastic experience! Debbie P.
