This is a family owned and operated beach and bay condo. The condo complex is a quiet, a strictly enforced no loud partying or loud music allowed condo building…a great place to relax and enjoy the bay.

This condo is one of four vacation rental units in this complex. The other three condos are VRBO listing #732380 (which is a 4 bedroom and 2 bath condo in the same complex on the bay), a new VRBO listing #857732 (a 4 bedroom and 2 bath condo in the same complex), and a new VRBO listing #857733 (a one bedroom and one bath condo in the same complex). This is a condo located on the bay. The condo is at street level and the beach is one level below, which you would take the stairs down to get there. The condo is just blocks away from restaurants and shopping. The condo overlooks the bay, beach, and the boardwalk. Great bay and beach views from the living room, dining room, second bedroom and kitchen. One large private balcony off the living room to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets . This condo is centrally located to San Diego county's most popular attractions including SeaWorld, world famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Seaport Village, La Jolla, Downtown San Diego's Gas Lamp Quarter, Coronado, Del Mar and much more.

The rent and damage deposit are to be paid with either a Credit or Debit Card through HomeAway Payments. Please check the calendar for open dates, and check the rates section for specific rates. There are 4 to 7 night minimums for reservations that are based on the time of the year. During the month of May there is a 5 night minimum. During the months of June, July and August the unit is only available on a weekly basis, from Saturday to Saturday.

Cancellation of the reservation dates at least 60 days before the start of the stay will get a 100% refund of all monies paid. There are no refunds of the rent, taxes, and cleaning fee for cancellations or changes to the reservation dates that are less than 60 days to start of stay, but there will be a refund of the damage deposit if paid and the amount paid for the Property Damage Protection Policy. If the rent, taxes, damage deposit, and cleaning fee are not paid by 60 days to start of stay, you will lose 100% of your rent deposit and lose the reservation, but you will be refunded the amount you paid for the Property Damage Protection Policy. Notice of cancellation or changes to the reservation dates must be in writing via email or mail.

Amenities: this is a secured building that includes a private 2 car parking spot. Washer and Dryer in the unit, there is Wi-Fi, flat screen television, beach chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrella, and beach towels, pack n play, and a booster chair.

Note: I am charging less than other comparable properties with a goal to rent out the condo more often.

Fun times in San Diego

There were 6 adults in my group. Everyone really enjoyed staying at this apartment. There was plenty of room for all. The house met my top two requirements right off the bat. The house was very clean and there was plenty of hot water. In addition, the beds were very comfortable, the wifi was great and the views were wonderful. The posted photos are a true depiction of the house. I saw some postings about the chairs in the living room being uncomfortable. As posted by Fred, the chairs were replaced. The new chairs are comfortable. Having the bay right outside was great and very relaxing for a land locked mid-westerner. The beach was never very crowded. It was about a 3/4 mile walk to the Pacific Beach boardwalk. This was close enough to get to the ocean, restaurants, bars and gift shops but far enough away to stay out of the hustle and bustle on the boardwalk. The house was centrally located to everything. It was 15 minutes to the Zoo, Midway, Balboa Park, La Jolla and Coronado. It was about 25-30 minutes to the Safari Park. I have rented from VRBO 6 times and this was the first time that I had a manager meet me on site to give me a tour of the property. He showed us where everything was including the washer/dryer, beach toys, beach towels and extra chairs. He has a book on the counter with all of the information you would need about the apartment and the local area. There were even suggestions on a few local restaurants. We tried the Mexican place and the food was great. My security deposit was returned promptly. Fred made sure we had his contact information should anything go wrong. Luckily, we did not need to contact him. I would not hesitate to recommend this listing to friends and family. I would happily rent one of Fred's properties again if I find myself in San Diego! This rental help to make this vacation a great success.

Condo was easy to find, clean, and in a great location. Building was secure but on the older side

Condo looks like it does in the pictures. It was clean and had a great view of the bay. It's an older building so we can hear the upstairs neighbors running around. The master bedroom does not have the bay view so that was upsetting. The main bathroom tub would back up sometimes while in the shower. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was great though! Coffee and drinks on the deck was awesome! The railing was a bit wobbley though. It was a great size for two adults and three kids. It has plenty of beach toys and chairs and so convenient for the kids to play in the water everyday. It's nice to not have a packed beach and be able to relax. This was our first time to San Diego and Fred was very helpful. We forgot some items and he went and found them and shipped them right away. I would recommend this condo as it beats staying in a hotel anytime! (For the same price).
