Welcome to our newly renovated, high floor ocean view condo just one block from the world-famous waikiki beach. The entire unit has been completely remodeled in june 2014 with brand new stainless appliances and modern furnishing throughout. If you are looking for a stylish home away from home – this is the place to be!

Located on the 30th floor, the unit offers spectacular ocean view of waikiki beach as well as beautiful city /ala wai river view that turn into breathtaking city lights view at night. This 600 sq-foot, spacious, one-bedroom unit has been upgraded with tasteful decorations, where you’ll find everything new - the kitchen cabinets, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, vanity, vessel sink, shower & bath, wood floorings, sofa sleeper, queen beds, night stand, media chest, etc.

Being the corner unit, it has the extra window in the bedroom providing more views and morning sunlight. There are also two separate entrances to the bathroom from the bedroom and the living room, which many other units don’t have. You will enjoy the benefit of fully stocked kitchen with full size fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, disposer, pots, pans and utensils. If you have been to waikiki before you will really appreciate that this property comes with free parking, as it can run at some resorts.

Sleeping arrangements include 2 queen beds in the bedroom and a sofa sleeper in the living room. The unit also offers free local phone and free in room internet access upon request. A coin-operated laundry room is located at the end of the hall on each floor.

On-site professional management company is hired for cleaning or in case of the unexpected. You will be able to pick up toilet papers and other consumables during your stay for free. Convenient amenities such as boogie boards, golf putters, tennis rackets, etc. Can also be checked out free of charge on a first come first served basis. Alternatively, if you are comfortable to stay in the condo without any maintenance services, you may select for “no management service” and receive $10 discount per night.

The 6th floor hosts an excellent recreation deck with features including a large swimming pool, two hot tubs, kids play equipment, tennis court, basketball court, golf putting green, barbeque grills, picnic tables, sauna, lounge chairs, and mini restaurant. The banyan breeze coffee shop and mini-mart offering a variety of supplies and goodies are located on the 1st floor. 24 hour security is there to help you rest easy.

The waikiki banyan is the perfect location for your honeymoon, anniversary, or to just relax and enjoy paradise! Located only one block from world famous waikiki beach, the waikiki banyan is conveniently located near a wide selection of restaurants, specialty shops, and other tourist attractions. The kids will love the waikiki zoo and aquarium which are located only a few blocks away. For your added convenience, a bus stop is located in front of the resort that give you access to the whole island.

We live in Tokyo and have been spending our vacations in Hawaii for the last decade. Because we love Hawaii so much, we decided to buy a condo in 2012. The condo was operating as one of the hotel rooms till we completed full renovations in June 2014. We are now renting it out on our own and would like to offer the best place to stay in Waikiki for ourselves and for everyone. We've spent our vacations in many places in Waikiki and have come to conclusion that the Banyan is the best place for its location, people, the amenities, the unit structure, and friendly atmosphere. The Waikiki Banyan is perfect place for family, couple, friends, on special occasions or to simply relax and chill out. We are proud and grateful to own a condo in such fabulous building.

What makes this condo unique

There is a recreational deck on the 6th floor where you can enjoy pools, jacuzzi, sauna, golf putter, basketball, BBQ, etc. Also, East Waikiki has shorter access to the beach compared to the West Waikiki and it takes only few minutes to the world famous Waikiki Beach. Short walks to the zoo and Kapiolani Park, as well as the shops and restaurants in the heart of Waikiki.

Great location and unit

This is an excellent unit within walking distance from Waikiki Beach and the main shopping and dining strip. It is fairly easy to jump on to the highway as well. The building complex is a bit older but is well maintained and clean. Linens, detergent and basic cookware are provided with the rental. Beds are comfortable and the unit is clean and well-maintained.

This property was not as advertised!

This property was advertised as Newley remodeled but when I arrived it was not as the pictures showed! The couch is old and the imitation leather is pealing and some of the pillows are old and dirty. The bathroom floor grout is black and dirty. The microwave in the kitchen can't even be opened its so close and tight against the wall.

In my renters info it states that I can check out chairs, boogie boards etc from koko resorts on the 5th floor but when I went to do that they said they haven't done that for quite a while now. I had to then rent 2 chairs and an umbrella for 25 dollars for 2 hours. I feel there should at least be a few chairs and other minors things in the unit for guests to use. There also was a nail on the wall in the living room where a picture once hung but the picture is gone. I don't want you to think I took it so I am letting you know it's gone just in case you don't know about this.

I think the unit needs some care to get it back to what is advertised.

I contacted you to ask when I could expect my security deposit back and you said 1 week but I have since found out it is 2 weeks.

I don't know when you have visited your unit last but I think you should know things that need to be done.

Please feel free to call me if you want! I left the unit clean and sure hope nobody said I didn't as things in the unit are not as they are supposed to be.

You have always responded quickly and thank you for that. I hope this can help you out for future renting.

Owner's Response: Hi Cindy, Thank you very much for your review. Please note that we are in the course of replacing the couch and the cushions that have worn off over the last 2 years. Also, we are currently working with the management office to make the bathroom floor look cleaner. Because our bathroom floors have a porous natural finish and it is easy for dirt and sand to seep in, the floors tend to look dirty despite the fact that the floor is completely cleaned every time our guests check out. We are considering to have a contractor do a seal treatment on the tile floor so that it would coat it and repel the water and dirt. Please note that we are also getting beach amenities for the unit so that it can be used for our guests. Thank you very much for your suggestion. As for the picture, it is currently stored in the management office as it got lose and was about to fall off. Our management office is getting necessary equipment so that the picture can be mounted on the wall more securely. This should be done very soon. Thank you very much for your candid comments and suggestions. We truly appreciate it as we'd like to ensure that our unit is tidy and clean at all times. The condo is a great location and well equipped. If you want to explore the island via rental car, having a parking space is very useful! The owner is VERY responsive and super receptive to any and all questions. Highly recommend--all around excellent stay!

Perfect place to stay.

Our family of 6, 4 adults and two children had a fantastic time at this apartment. We knew it would be a bit cramped with that many people but coped okay. We used the fold out couch, and an air bed to accommodate the two extra people. Both of which were comfortable. Having the two separate entrances to the bathroom was a godsend also.

The apartment is well maintained, and clean. Has everything you need and is only a short walk to the beach at Waikiki.

Chisato was very responsive to my questions, and kept in touch when we were actually in the unit.

I would have no reservations about staying there again.

Great Family Holiday

We had a great stay. The apartment was comfortable for 5 of us and perfectly located close to the beach and restaurants of Waikiki. It was so good having a car spot allowing us to have a car and explore the whole island at our leisure. We would stay again. The owner was very responsive to all our messages and questions and the whole booking process was easy.
