Guestbook comments from the manager

Once again, St. Augustine proved to be a great getaway location for us, although it rained on and off throughout our stay, we still squeezed in all our favorites: Ice Plant, Amici's, long walks.

We enjoyed our quite time on the apartment's decks.

Thank you and we enjoyed it!

PERFECT for our family reunion!!

  • 5 of 5

There are so many wonderful things to recommend about this place. I got together with 4 siblings (and spouses) for our once yearly reunion. We rented the entire floor so got to be close together in the unit, but we also each had our own space.

The location is wonderful and is within walking distance of a chocolate making company, winery, distillery, and farmer's market. And the restaurants!!

It is located on a busy street, so I was concerned about the traffic noise or the noise between units. Never heard a thing.

Our only negative was the communication. Our flight arrived at 11:00 AM, so we were wanting to get in the room before the 4:00 check in time. After not being able to get ahold of either Brandon or Eric (kind of frustrating) on more than one occasion, we just decided to pull our swimsuits out and go to the beach.

The owner stopped by on Friday night to make sure the AC was working in our room. We had no problems with it AT ALL, but it was very nice of him to stop by and chat. He made recommendations for local attractions that were really great!

Great location and clean.

  • 4 of 5

Walking distance to downtown. Also super close to the winery and ice plant/distillery. Nice and clean. You can definitely smell the subway up in the unit though. Nothing too bad though. Only negative would be the a/c. Only having a window unit in the living room might be rough as the summer months heat up. Property managers very quick to respond. Hot water in shower is tricky. It is labeled backwards and you have to have it almost shut off to get any warm water. Overall great place and easy parking.

Very clean nicely decorated

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay. Room was very clean and nicely decorated. Only issue we had was the living room tv remote does not allow us to change channels. We had issues with the cable box working but we weren't really there to watch tv so wasnt that big of a deal. Only recommendation I have is to add lights to the rear wooden steps. We would definitely stay here again. Very nice place.

Excellent property at an excellent price

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time staying at this property. It was just as good as the first! Again the room was clean and well maintained. The air conditioner worked great, and the bed was very comfortable. Can't wait to come back again in the future!

Great Value

  • 4 of 5

This condo is a great value based on it's, price, location and layout. Having never visited St. Augustine before I had some question as to whether this would be a nice condo in a location off the beaten path in a less than desirable area. I arrived after dark and drove to the parking lot in the back. In walking through the lowly lit parking lot to the unlit stairway up to the unit, I still had questions about the location. It wasn't until the morning when I walked out the front of the building and saw art galleries a winery and the police station all on the same block that I realized the location was just fine. Everything is truly just a short walk away, including the historic district, the harbor, outdoor and indoor museums and outdoor music venues. The condo itself is like brand new and is very comfortable. There is a laundry facility and even a couple of beach chairs to take with you to the beach. The property management staff was excellent and responded very quickly to any issues that I had. (no coffee filters, questions re cable TV) There was a significant mishap during my stay where the shower faucet broke and flooded the business below. This left me without a shower. The building owner himself, came out within 15 minutes on a Saturday and by the end of the day had the shower back up and operating for me. I would have given this review a five star except for the fact that the walls are thin and I could hear the partying going on in the unit next to me until 3:30 am. In addition, the front porch is shared and the partiers had no problem standing literally right outside my bedroom window until 3:30 airing their drunken drama. ugh! Oh and I would suggest more lighting on both the stairs coming up the back of the building and the front stairway. All in all, I enjoyed my stay and I would choose to stay here again.

Clean, well appointed unit.

  • 4 of 5

Good location, convenient parking behind the building and secure access to the 2nd floor where the suites are located. Clean, comfortable, well furnished unit. What you see in the pictures is what you get. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is the limited TV channels available. Couldn't believe we couldn't get ESPN!

Would recommend tours of the Distillery and Winery ( within 2 blocks and free) and Flaggler College. Also the Savory Faire Food Tour with City Walks.
