The property’s bright and slightly tilted kitchens are equipped with the appliances and supplies needed to create or reheat a tasty meal, which can be enjoyed inside or on the secluded, backyard patio.

Close to Claiborne and Broad Streets, The Casa Blanca is located next door to The Monte Cristo in a revitalized community that hosts a second-line jazz parade nearly every Sunday afternoon. (See schedule below.)

Colorful house in a great neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

This is a wonderful location to explore New Orleans if you want to see the real people that live in this city - the neighborhood is not too far from downtown and the French Quarter, and the trip in between takes you through some old and colorful parts of New Orleans. The neighborhood felt very safe, and i loved being able to see how real families live in that community, not just the travelers staying in hotels and rentals in the Quarter. Also, there is a Whole Foods not too far away by bus, so you can get all of your healthy comforts nearby! Jay was a great host, super helpful, offered to do cleaning and was very responsive any time we needed something. The Kitchen was a little sparse, but when i asked Jay for some extra cookware, he responded right away. The bedrooms were a little bright in the morning, so be sure to bring an eye mask. Overall, great place at a great rate with a great host.

Great stay

  • 5 of 5

Jay was an amazing host. He was there to answer any questions we had and even let us know about certain events happening in the city. The house was great, comfortably accommodating all 10 of us. We had a great time and would love to book with Jay again!

Smooth weekend away.

  • 5 of 5

Jay, the owner, was very helpful, he was available for any questions, had suggestions for the events going on for the weekend. The place was clean, very colorful, a great homebase to come back to after sightseeing. The neighbors were a little loud at night and the place could've used pots and pans, however everything else we could've needed was supplied. I would definitely consider working with Jay again.

A great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

The house was very nice and the owner Jay was very accommodating. He gave us some good recommendations around town while we were there. It's about a 10-15 minute drive from the French quarter and finding transportation wasn't an issue.

Colorful Place to Stay

  • 4 of 5

This house was definitely a colorful place to stay with a lot of personality. This house was located about 10 minutes from the French Quarter which made it a great location for everything we were doing. The owner Jay was amazing and very helpful. He offered to help us with everything he needed. He lives upstairs so it definitely makes you feel safe. He definitely helped us with cab suggestions and even offered to give us a ride after a cab stood us up for over 2 hours.
