Nice place - great location
Walter was very good about providing information before my arrival - everything from directions, how/where to find parking, etc.
The apartment is very nice. It is spacious and clean.
The only negative - and these are both minor things:
1) There is no lockbox, so we had to pick up the keys. Fortunately we were going somewhere close to where we could do that, but a lockbox would be much more convenient. Apparently they are not allowed in the building.
2) I was told that the walk to Fenway Park was about 15 to 20 minutes. The walk is over 2 miles away. Still walking distance for most people, but farther than I had expected.
Parking is a hassle in Boston in general, but the overnight lot is only a couple of blocks away and worked out just fine. Walter's instructions on that were very helpful. You will get a parking ticket ($30) if you leave your car on the street overnight (I saw one on someone else's car). The lot cost $10 from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
There are a lot of restaurants and shops in the neighborhood and we felt very safe walking around at night. There were also a lot a people jogging on the morning we left.
I would highly recommend staying there. Just plan accordingly if you have your own car to take care of parking.
Pleasant stay in Brookline, MA
Convenient, clean, comfortable bed and excellent value. We appreciate Walter being so attentive to our needs during our stay. Thank you.
Very nice and simple one bedroom apt! Safe!
Great location in Brookline and T stops. Make sure you go to the store for misc items like coffee, filters, water etc. the apt is very simple but perfect for my three day stay in Boston. Walter was fabulous and responsive.
Quiet apartment in a great location!
This is a great apartment in a lovely neighborhood. If I may make one suggestion, improve the kitchen a bit as I could not invite the family over for dinner - not enough pots, no glasses, no proper knives. But aside from that, we found the apartment perfect for our needs. Thanks for a great stay.
Thank you for your review and your suggestions. We will take them into the account and try to make these improvements.
Thank you for staying with us.
Comfort, location, value and service.
I was there in early August to attend Red Sox games with my son. Prior to my stay, Walter was very informative and attentive to our needs and interests. By the time I got to the apartment, I had a wealth of information regarding local transport, grocery stores and nearby eateries. By the way, they are all within walking distance, including Fenway park. Again, Walter called on my first day to make sure everything was OK and ask if I needed anything.
The apartment itself is spacious, clean and very comfortable. We were there during a heat wave and I was glad that the place does have good AC units. The kitchen is modern and equipped with anything you might need, and if there is anything, I'm sure Walter will help you out. There's cable and WI-Fi as well. It's on the 6th floor and there are elevators.
The neighborhood of Brookline is residential but close to everything. Also, there's a T stop (green line) less than a block away that can get you into Government Center in less than 30 min depending on the time of day.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will recommend if you're considering visiting the area.
beautiful apartment, nicely furnished
Very convienently located, on the main street in Brookline (but with no windows facing the main street, very quiet (actually the main street itself is quiet). Near the local Charlie station, close to several kosher resturants, and other shopping.
The apartment was clean, had plenty of spare linens and towels. The owner was available by phone and happy to answer questions, and previous to arrival was prompt in answering e-mails.
If I'm again in the neighborhood (Boston) I would come back.
