Hand Built in the 1960's
3 bedroom, 1 full bathroom cabin, built by our grandfather in the 1960's. This part of the lake does not have houses, you will be surrounded by other hand-built waterfront cabins on either side and only pine trees behind you. It is a beautiful piece of heaven for those who do not wish to stay in a mansion on the lake. The bedrooms have doors, but the walls aren't exactly soundproof. One bedroom has a queen, one has a full, and the bunk room has 2 sets of bunk beds to sleep an additional 4. The bathroom has hot water and a full shower/bath. The dock is relatively new, and has room for 1 boat. The beach is nice enough to lay and play on, but not exactly Caribbean sand. Fire pit by the water's edge with room for the whole family to cook hot dogs and smores, plus a full kitchen to cook the larger meals. There is even a wood-burning stove if you want to get your pioneer on. There is a nice dining table and living room on the lower part of the first floor, each with plenty of room for your party of 8 to sit around and spend time together. You can even sleep more on the sofas or out under the stars if you're feeling really adventurous. Electric heat, full electricity, hot water, full size fridge/freezer, parking for 3 vehicles.

On the East Shore of Priest Lake, Indian Creek Campground has a small store for the essentials, some more small stores on west side of lake, but most grocery shopping should be done in Newport or Priest River. Lots of beautiful hiking in the area, unlimited boating, and all kinds of watersports. Room for 1 boat on the dock, and boat rentals available on the lake. Lake and river fishing, as well as great wildlife viewing including deer, moose, bald eagles, and the occasional bears. Watch where you're driving!
Year Purchased: 1952
About the owner: 3rd Generation Priest Lake dwellers, we grew up running around this cabin and its huge lot from the time we could walk. We are doing everything in our power to keep this cabin in our family for generations to come, and therefore have put a lot of love into it so we can rent it to you!
Why the Owner Chose Coolin, ID, USA:
Our grandfather saw great potential in Priest lake in 1952 and bought this place and undertook a huge project in building a cabin on this land. Built before the roads existed, he floated bundles of lumber across the lake behind a rowboat powered by a 5hp motor. Talk about dedication.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
Sun most of the day, shade whenever you want it. Huge lot, lots of parking, 150' of waterfront. Lovely neighbors, privacy, great location close to everything by boat. Rustic but not roughing it.
