Beautiful spacious well appointed flat in a perfect location.
Great flat. great location
the flat was lovely. The only "complaint" and it really isn't a complaint was that the furniture in the living room, other than the sofa was not at all comfortable to sit in. But the experience was lovely. We had a wonderful time.
Great flat in South Ken
The apartment is wonderful- well located, generously sized, comfortable. The property manager, Elliot, was extremely attentive and I can recommend the apartment without reservation. We look forward to returning soon.
Great location, lovely flat!
South Kensington is a perfect choice for museum goers, shoppers, and walking enthusiasts. This flat is bright and inviting despite its basement location, and is tastefully furnished. The property management was attentive and responsive to our questions. We look forward to staying here again!
Excellent place to stay
This is a great place to stay. Why? Because it is a spacious, well-equipped flat in a first rate location. And all for a reasonable price (considering that we're talking about London). If you've been using this site for a while, you know that such a combination is exceedingly rare.
But wait -- there's more! There's a small patio out front, where you can take your morning coffee or your afternoon beer. Or you could relax in the sun-filled living room. Or just hang out in the bedrooms, especially as the beds are comfortable with high-count bedsheets and there are plenty of interesting books on the shelves.
Also, the property management -- Melissa in particular -- is superb, responding amazingly quickly to texts on every matter, every day of the week.
What are the downsides? Two, really. First, the flat is in a basement. Because of the way it is constructed, it gets plenty of light, but the air circulation is poor and there's no AC system to help move the air along. Second, there's no dryer, just a clothesline, which combined with the poor air circulation means that it takes a while for things to dry.
But the huge advantages of the place more than compensate for these minor inconveniences. You might want to book it now -- before I book my next stay!
Thank you very much for your lovely review!
I must say that it was a pleasure dealing with you.
Thanks again for choosing to stay with us.
Great place, great location, good management
My wife and teenage daughter stayed here for a week in June 2017 and loved it. The apartment is just like the photos. It's nice and very comfortable.
Thank you very much for your review.
We are glad to know you enjoyed you stay!
It was a pleasure having you as a guest.
Roland Gardens is a very sought after street, a short walk from The Beach area of the Fulham Road as well as Gloucester Road and South Kensington. When you're in the area, check out Blakes Hotel at 33 Roland Gardens, designed by Anouska Hempel, or for something more low key, The Duke of Clarence is a favourite local haunt. The nearest underground stations are Gloucester Road and South Kensington (Zone 1, Circle & District, Piccadilly lines).
