Great little getaway!

  • 4 of 5

We were all very impressed with the amenities of the cabin! Super cute and cozy! The entire house is very well stocked. The views are pretty and the neighborhood is quiet. The decor gives the whole house a welcoming feeling.

We came on a pretty hot weekend, and we were not used to a house with no a/c, so it made it difficult for many of us to sleep (even with windows open). Maybe some extra fans in the rooms for summer? We also had more than one scorpion encounter in two of the bedrooms, one of which was under the covers!

Overall, we had a really wonderful time and would definitely come back!

Owner's Response: Thank you Angela for your stay at our cabin. Considering it was 108 down below I'm sure the nice 85 degrees was a welcome retreat. At 7200 ft elevation we seldom get above 90 degrees but we will take your advice and add some extra fans. As far as the scorpions go this is something we have never encountered and we have our pest control coming to check into it as they have never seen any up at that elevation and were quite surprised to hear that! I'm glad your family made memories that they will always treasure and we hope to have you as return guest! Sandra and Dan
