Our one bedroom loft apartments are bright, cheerful & open to 14+ acres of pristine fields & forest. We offer beach chairs, ice, coolers and beach towels. The apt. is fully furnished with couch & loveseat in living room, small dining table, full kitchen with plenty of storage. Queen bed. The loft bedroom is full height with cathedral ceilings and skylights. The apartment is open and spacious. Eight foot sliding doors lead onto a deck with views and immediate access to large grassy fields, hiking trails & plenty of wildlife. A screened canopies allow nights of listening to the calls of wildlife. You may wake to deer grazing in the field or a wild turkey family parading across the property. Gloucester, known for its history as a fishing port, has without doubt the best beaches of New England and only 10 minutes drive. Our own exquisite Cranes beach is just a few minutes from the farm. Whether you prefer a secluded beach like 'Half Moon' or something grand like 'Good Harbor' there is a beach for you. Whale watching trips all guarantee sightings. Sail on the 'Ardelle' built by local wooden boat builder, Harold Burnham. Or the schooner ' Thomas E. Lannon also built locally using the skills and methods of boat builders of the 1800's.
