Island Pine is a 40 unit complex that sits on 7 mile beach. Our condo has recently been remodeled with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, custom cabinets, new tile, high speed internet with wifi and new furniture. There is also a covered front patio that includes a dining table to enjoy those meals you decide to make at home but can still sit outside and enjoy the weather.

We have included all the essentials for a family that likes to have the flexibility to make meals at 'home' or somewhere to keep the basics for breakfast and lunch and minimize the vacation expenses. At the same time don't miss out on the excellent restaurants that range from sushi to hamburgers to fine dining, all within walking distance.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, ceiling fan, dresser and patio to enjoy your morning coffee along with the natural lighting and a fresh cross breeze.

The loft over looks the living room and includes 2 single beds and dresser, great for kids.

The kitchen has a breakfast bar with stools inviting conversation as meals are prepared or just relaxing after a long day at the beach. We have included all the things that will make your meal preparation just like home with all new coffee maker, toaster, cookware, dishes, glasses, silverware and blender.

The bathroom has been updated to include beautiful tile work and a large shower with sliding glass doors (no bathtub).

The small 40 unit complex has a pool which is usually empty during the week because most tenants are long term and work during the day. The pool area also has pergolas to provide shade while you enjoy the quiet or watch the kids splashing around in the pool. The pergolas include a hammock for a quiet afternoon nap or a comfortable shaded area to catch up on some reading. There is also a community propane BBQ grill for the use of our guests. The famous Seven Mile Beach is just on the other side of the nicely landscaped pool area. From the pool you have full direct access to the beach, don't forget to take the beach chairs and towels from inside the unit so you can be comfortable where ever you decide to go.

If you are interested in stand up paddle boarding (SUP), there are rental facilities near by along with lessons for beginners.

Our family is from Michigan and we look forward to sharing our favorite place in the caribbean with you. All three of our children have completed their open water scuba diving certifications here. To help minimize the usual 'where are we going to eat?', 'i don't care' conversation we can provide a list of restaurants to satisfy the kids request for chicken tenders and ranch, great italian food, brick oven pizza, burgers, a steakhouse or seafood.

We have been visiting the islands since before we were married and have stayed in various units in this complex. When we had the opportunity to purchase this unit it was a dream come true. We enjoy bringing the children somewhere we feel safe and can walk the beach or streets without being approached by anyone trying to sell us something.

What makes this condo unique

Seven mile beach gives you the opportunity to enjoy a nice walk or sit and read a book while enjoying the warm breezes. With a private pool at this small complex you can get away from any activity on the beach and enjoy your own quiet time in the shade or soaking up the sun. The central location makes it easy to manage without a car, if you decide to take a drive to explore the island it is easy to reserve a car for a day or two.

great location to beach and food

Pros: super nice and clean condo. great location to beach with short walk past the pool, is right across road to food and beverages and dive shop, loved the beach chairs also. bar and grill right next door makes wonderful burgers. Cons: could not see beach from balcony, beach fills up quickly when cruise ships are in, lively next door on weekends at bar & grill.

Overall: good place to stay, we would recommend it, loved our trip and the owners were extra nice and helpful to us

The Perfect Beach Getaway

Firstly, this condo has to be the best equipped we have ever stayed in! There was everything you could need including sharp knives in the kitchen (a bugbear of mine with rentals). It felt like a home and you could tell you were staying somewhere that had been remodelled to a high standard.

The location was perfect. Just 10 mins from the airport directly on 7 mile beach and right next door to Royal Palms Resort which has a fantastic bar and restaurant. With lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance all options are covered!

Georgetown is just 5-10 mins by bus or taxi immediately outside the condos.

All in all an excellent rental and one we would definitely recommend to others.

Wonderful condo and beautiful beach

The condo was wonderful. Everything was labeled well (including hallway and kitchen lights, as well as TV remotes). The kitchen had all necessary accessories needed to make food. The condo was very well kept.

The beach was wonderful - just beautiful. Great restaurant next door called Royal Palms with delicious food.

The only con to this location is that there is no beach umbrella for you, unless you want to pay $15 US ($12 CI) or walk a little further on the beach to find shade under the trees - this was no problem for us.

Overall this was a 5+ rating.

The owners are very nice and give you information about the location before you come down. They were also very accommodating and let us check out a little later (1pm instead of 11am) because out flight was later. I would definitely book with them again as it was simply wonderful :).

Great Condo!

Our family of 4 stayed in this condo for a week and had a wonderful experience. Our kids are ages 13 and 10. We love that the condo is located right next door to the Royal Palms Beach Club. It has a nice restaurant with outdoor seating right on the beach. Also, we were able to rent snorkel gear, a paddleboard and a waverunner at Salt which is located onsite of the Royal Palms. Red Sail Sports is located in the nearby Marriott Hotel to book excursions, like to Stingray City, etc. The beach is beautiful, relaxing and not too busy. The condo is not located near a grocery store, but it is a quick bus ride (or walkable, maybe a mile) to Fosters Food fair, and a $12 taxi ride back. We found a great coffee shop at a nearby Café Del Sol, very similar to Starbucks. The condo also offers a swimming pool that is not busy, but we really didn't use it because we loved the beach! The condo has been beautifully remodeled and had all the amenities to meet our needs. I can't think of any downsides to this condo. We had a great vacation!

Caribbean doesn't get any better

This is a great property at the best possible location on Grand Cayman island. We had a great time and we are planning to return in couple of years. Here are some tips:

1. On a cruise ship day you need to tell the attendants at the Royal Palms that you are staying on the island and they will charge you for umbrella only - $15.00. Chairs will be free

2. If you are planning to visit any attractions do it on a day with no cruise ships in town or it will be very crowded.

3. There is a free shuttle for the turtle farm at picks up at the Marriott at 9:30 AM. Bring your ID if you are paying with a credit card

4. Walking to Camana Bay around the construction is faster if you go left on the main road and then behind the gas station. It only takes 10 mins

5. We ate out every night and we recommend: Lola at Camana Bay; Aqua just down the street, Lauren's and the steak house at the Fosters Food plaza

6. You can bring the shopping card back to the condo and leave it curb side, they have pick up service every day!

The beach is amazing and the weather was perfect. The only inconvenience for me is that we didn't have fresh beach towels every day. Housekeeping also could have been better, floors and counters needed attention.
