We loved being so close to everything and feeling like part of the community.

It would have been more comfortable with a second full sized bed but my son and daughter in law made do with the tiny twin bed and my daughter slept on the sofa.

Very Pleased

I took my son to Vancouver to celebrate his graduation and to enjoy the city and the zip lining and hiking at nearby Grouse Mountain. We were very pleased with this townhouse as our rental. The garage for parking free of charge was a major positive as I have seen this is generally an extra charge. The ability to walk right out of the townhouse directly to the street was also advantageous and the street was very quiet and lovely with it's tree lined walkways. Some have said that they were not pleased with the lived in feel of the house but this did not bother my son and I at all having personal items around. The house was neat and clean. Rachel was extremely pleasant and responsive. I would recommend this home.

Bad Experience

This place does not sleep 6 people as advertised, it sleeps 3. The second bedroom is full of toys and has a tiny bed. You clearly feel like you are in someone else's space to the degree that it is uncomfortable. The place was cluttered and not very clean (stained furniture, stale smelling and dirty floors). We had to leave and find acceptable accommodations elsewhere. Owner is ignoring requests for a refund. I strongly advise against renting this place!

Great location!!

You cannot beat the location of this townhouse. You do not need a car, but there is a parking spot available if you choose to use one. Plenty of fantastic dine in or take out restaurants within walking distance. A small grocery right across the street, SEVERAL coffee shops within 1 block, and the train station just 2 blocks away. We also found that the townhouse was only a few blocks away from every tour or shuttle bus we wanted to catch.

We had a few hiccups when we arrived due to a scheduling error, but the owner was reachable and responsive. She even immediately supplied us with an air mattress and extra fans due the mild "heat wave" the city was experiencing. The space is not large, but is very usable. The easy access to the street just out the front door was great. It really beat having to take an elevator and go through a lobby of a large high rise. The street is relatively quiet and we felt comfortable leaving the doors open when we were there.

A few points, I don't know for sure whether the owner lives in the unit part time, but it clearly feels like someone's home with personnel items throughout the space, such as in closets, etc. If you don't like that but prefer a more "rental home" type of environment, you may not like this. We had no problem with it and found that the owner made ample room for use to store our items. There is no TV. The owner will get one if requested, but you need to give more than just a few days notice, which is understandable. And, the light and fan switches to the master bathroom are in the hallway right outside the door.

All in all we had a great experience. We were in Vancouver for the World Cup Finals and having such a great place to stay made our experience all that much better. Thank you Rachel.

Lovely Yaletown Condo

This condo is located in one of the best neighborhoods in Vancouver! Steps from trendy restaurants (Blue Water Cafe is amazing), clothing and furniture boutiques, beauty salons, and brew pubs. Granville Island is a short ferry ride across False Creek. Public transportation (we took bus) is readily available, including Sky Train. The condo is lovely, but not overly spacious. It has two bedrooms, each with their own separate bathroom. The master is generous, but the second bedroom is small, as is its attached bathroom. Decor and furnishing were lovely and tasteful. We were a family of five, which made it a tight fit, but we did not spend very much time in the condo. The location was so perfect, we spent our time exploring our surroundings and the beautiful city of Vancouver. There is no television, but we didn't really need it, and used WiFi. This condo is perfect for a couple or a small family. Its a tighter fit for larger groups, but we did it and had a great stay!

Yaletown condo

We stayed in this condo in June for vacation with our granddaughter. It is a very nice space that provided everythiing we needed. First the location is great and within 3 blocks of dozens of restaurants and only about 5 blocks to the ocean/marina. Also only 5-6 blocks to BC place where world cup is being played. This is a street front condo in an upscale building. Front door is just off the tree lined sidewalk on Homer St. The living room, dining and kitchen are downstairs. Two bedrooms and two full baths up. Ample storage. Parking is underground, very clean and secure. Also has a small patio and lawn space behind the larger bedroom upstairs. The workout area was only steps away. Overall a great place to stay and good value. Wifi worked fine. Did not see a TV but suspect you could watch via internet if needed. If really interested in TV while there I would talk with the owner.
