Located in Point Loma minutes from San Diego Airport and downtown's Gaslamp Quarter you are close to all that San Diego has to offer. There are gorgeous views of San Diego Bay, Coronado Island and Mexico in the distance. When the sun sets you can see the light reflecting on the water and frequent fireworks displays. Once it is dark, the twinkling lights will relax and enchant you. The large patio is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine or morning coffee.
The house is located in a quiet neighborhood full of interesting houses built over the last 100 years. Just down the hill is a small 'village' replete with a coin laundry, post office, drug store and some amazing small restaurants, bakeries and wine pubs. On Sunday there is a small farmer's market.
We live above the apartment and will be on hand for anything you may need. We are pretty quiet, you'll hardly know we are there. The welcoming party will be ourselves, our Persian cat, Frisky, and Slater, an adorable lemon and white beagle who also vacations here part time.
We have traveled many places and lived in Italy for more than 20 years. Even so, we feel we are blessed to have ended up in San Diego with it's spectacular views and diverse activities. Cooking and good wines are our passion. How could it be otherwise having lived in Italy?
We hope you can come and enjoy this gorgeous area.
Adjacent to us, our neighbors have a lovely one bedroom VRBO #409608 which sleeps two. If you are coming with more people and need the room you can be right next door! Just a hop, skip and a jump away.

You've heard the saying - 'LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION'. Privacy, space, and convenience wrapped up in a great view.
The view for the price says it all.
Thank you so much for being such an amazing host! The first day we came, you made our trip amazing from the very beginning!
We absolutely loved the champagne, the chocolate covered strawberries...
They were in our belly the first day!
We found an adorable fresh scent bag. I hope you like it!
We hope to come back soon :-)

Enjoyed sitting on the peaceful patio over looking San Diego Bay, could see the city lights and fireworks from Pet Co sports park. The Point Loma location is ideal. I enjoyed the fun new shopping center "Liberty Station" and visiting my son at PLNU. The neighborhood parking is safe. All the necessities are provided and many thoughtful touches which made my stay comfortable. The place is very clean and the bed very comfortable. Kim is a friendly hostess, she used to live in Italy which may explain that European charm. I hope to stay here again.
My husband and I stayed here for two nights to celebrate my 40th birthday. It was our first time visiting San Diego and the location was absolutely perfect! The view from the patio was amazing... You could see the city skyline beautifully. We even saw fireworks from some event on the USS Midway or second night there. We were convenient close to everything we wanted to see and do. Everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable was provided and even some thoughtful extra touches like a bottle of wine and chocolate covered strawberries! The bed, bedding and pillows were THE best we have ever slept on... Absolute perfection. Thank you Kim for the wonderful birthday getaway experience! It will not be forgotten!
My wife and I stayed at this beautiful spot for 4 nights. Kim made sure everything was perfect. The apartment was clean, spacious with a very comfortable bed. The porch area was stunning.
I stayed at this special spot for 2 nights and enjoyed it so much! Kim made sure I had everything I needed and even left a welcome bottle of wine. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and the location was great. I walked down to Shelter Island each morning and stopped for a great cup of coffee at "Sweetaly's" on my way back. A lovely patio with a view of the beautiful San Diego skyline and bay was the perfect spot for breakfast in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. A special spot in a great neighborhood!
My family and I spent a week here and loved it. Kim was a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a place that really feels warm, welcoming and like "home", look no further. We really enjoyed the great neighborhood shops and restaurants and walked down to the water every morning. The views from the patio are stunning - especially at night with the city all lit up. The location is very central and we found it easy to get places and Kim was incredibly sweet and helpful. I highly recommend this rental to anyone visiting San Diego - we loved it! Sincere thanks Kim.
Gorgeous view, great location, fantastic host, what more can you ask for. Great place for a peaceful weekend or a fun week. We walked to the beach in the evenings. You can see fireworks from the apartment patio! I would recommend this place for sure.
Minutes away is the world famous San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park, an old Pan America Fair site from 1915. SeaWorld is close enough to hear the fireworks in the evening. Cabrillo Nat'l Moument is just up the hill. Old Town is a wonderful glimpse into the pre gold rush days. Del Mar Fair Grounds and Race Track offers year round events and shows. Humphrey's By the Bay is within walking distance and features big name performers in an intimate, outdoor waterfront setting. Point Loma's jewel, Liberty Station was the old WW1 and WW2 Navy base and includes several restaurants, groceries, bakery and deli, golf, wine tasting and Stone Brewery for a taste of San Diego's craft beer industry. The deep sea fishing charter port is within walking distance along with two great seafood restaurant (one where the fishermen eat!). Harbor Town Pub offers a changing variety of craft beers on tap. Municipal tennis courts are just down the streets. I could go on but there's almost too much to mention!
