An amazing high rise apartment building! Newly built! Close to Shoreditch and its myriad bars clubs and restaurants! All of this and more at my stylish apartment. This apartment is only 4 minutes walk to Aldgast East station. This means you will be in the West End in 20 minutes the financial city in 10 minutes and a short talk to Shoreditch. If you are after the big sights such as Westminster Abbey Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament just take a direct tube and you will be there in 20 minutes. In my opinion you can't find a better location in London. My spacious and light filled apartment is located in a newly built tower which means you access to elevator and all modern and new amenities. The living room is an open plan space. The sitting area is centered around a massive 4K TV (boys you are going to love this!) and has basic cable channels. For the uninitiated 4K is a the latest TV technology and has the highest resolution ever! If you have an Amazon Netflix and PlayStation subscriptions you can log into your account and watch those on this huge screen. The kitchen lies behind the living area and comes with two ovens microwave dishwasher and a nespresso machine (may not always have the pods). I have left some basic condiments in case my guests decide to cook. Tea coffee and sugar are also included. The flat has two full double bedrooms. The master bedroom has a ensuite bathroom and a huge kingsize bed. The second bathroom is located outside the second bedroom. You have the choice of shower and bath tubs across the two bathrooms. The bedrooms come with luxury 100% cotton linens! I have provided fluffy white towels in the bathrooms along with shower gel and shampoo. The flat also has a washing machine and a dryer (combined in one machine). A baby cot and a high chair can be provided up on prior request.
Guest Access - Guests will have access to the entire apartment except for one cupboard where I will store my things. However there will be other cupboards which will be empty for guest things.
Interaction with Guests - Our friends at Hostmaker are looking after our home while we are away. They're a host management service team of Londoners who are hosts themselves. We trust them to give you a warm welcome! Hostmaker will look after you.
The Neighborhood - Aldgate East has been swept up in the gentrification drive that started in Old Street and has spread across London. It has many advantages - it is close to the old financial heart of the capital the City of London. It is also super close to Shoreditch and all the buzzing bars and restaurants there. Just walk across the main street and you are on Commercial Street - this is one long stretch of fantastic restaurants including the famed institution Lahore Kebab House (BYOB but be prepared to queue up). Then there is the excellent St.John Wine and Bread for fresh baking. Lupita and Boho Mexicana are two of the best places for Mexican in London. Walking down Commercial Street you will find your way to two famous markets in London. One is the Spitalfields and the other is the Brick Lane market. Both sell a dizzying variety of vintage clothes shoes knick knacks and of course there are lots of little eating places to discover. The end of Commercial Street will bring you to the heart of Shoreditch and Boxpark - a great pop up venue selling funky upcoming brands. If you are into art then head to the Whitechapel Gallery which is making a name for itself for its modernist exhibitions. History buffs will do well to walk over to the Tower of London which is about 15 mins walk away. Here you can hear all about the executions and trials carried out over the last few centuries. You can feast your eyes on the famed Kohinoor diamond and the other crown jewels! I hope you are convinced by now that this is the perfect location for your holiday in London. Send me an enquiry and I can give you lots more recommendations!
Getting Around - The closest tube station is Aldgate East which is on the Hammersmith & City and District lines. The station is only 4 minutes way from the flat! If you are flying into Heathrow take the Heathrow Connect to Paddington station and then change to the Hammersmith & City line!
Other Things to Note - Home truths:- a new building is being finished on the plot opposite the building. However the windows are triple glazed so you can barely hear anything. Most of the heavy work is already done. - the flat is on a very high floor. - there is a late check in charge of £40 after 11 pm check in.
