This is our family home so please treat it with respect! We hope you love it (and the village) as much as we do! There will be our personal belongings left on site as we live here full time when it isn't being rented. We will endeavour to clear some space in cupboards/fridge/freezer for you to use, but please don't disturb items that are obviously personal and for family use only. There are two cats in residence - Willow and Lily. They are very friendly and love to be fussed - we let them into the main house, but if you prefer you can limit them to the kitchen only. Please chat to us if you'd rather not share with the cats and we can try to make alternative arrangements for them. Please no candles unless in candle holders provided. When not at home please make sure all windows are shut and doors are locked.

Pretty and comfortable home to relax and use to explore the lovely country area
We thoroughly enjoyed some family time together in this beautiful cottage. The books and games were welcome as were the goodies of bread, lemon curd, wine and home-made cookies - very kind and thoughtful. Thankyou for allowing us to share your lovely home.
Peaceful and beautiful :-)
We loved this rental! It was a home away from home. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The owner was very helpful and friendly and we would definitely recommend our stay to everyone. The local village tea room and local pub are also lovely with friendly locals.
In the heart of the South Down's National park, there are numerous stunning walks and bike rides right on the doorstep through beautiful, unspoilt countryside. Views to the sea (7 miles away) and beyond to the Isle of Wight on a clear day. The South Down's Way is a couple of miles away just near the National Trust House "Uppark" (which you can see from the property) and English National Heritage site - Kingley Vale - with its ancient yew tree forest is within walking distance (a decent walk!). 11 miles to the famous Goodwood racecourse and golf course, 10 miles to historic Cathedral town of Chichester. Plenty of outdoor activities within easy reach: from hiking and mountain biking to sailing, kite surfing and paddle boarding.
