About the property

Located in the gated community of El Cielo Playa Del Carmen. El Cielo offers 24/7 security at the front gate as well as at the complex, AWA itself.

This Condo is equipped with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The Master bedroom has a king bed, large ensuite bathroom with dressing room and a safe for your valuables. The second bedroom has 2 Queen beds, one that pulls out from under the other and a large closet and ensuite access.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including fridge, 6 burner gas stove, oven, microwave, large water dispenser, pots, pans, dishes and yes a dishwasher. The very nicely appointed dinning room easily accommodates 6. The open floor plan allows for socializing while in the Kitchen, dinning room or living room, which has a large sectional couch, large TV and a DVD player for those more relaxed evenings. The laundry room has a full sized washer and dryer so you don't have to pack a huge suitcase. The patio, which is about 8 steps from the pool has hammock hooks so you can enjoy our hammock, under the outdoor ceiling fan. There is a gym and roof top solarium for the complex to share and with only 17 units in the complex, it is not a busy place. It is about a 5 min walk to the back gate which leads you to the Princess resort, Just out the back gate is where all the taxis park for the resort so getting a taxi is very easy. It is about a 5-10 min drive into the heart of Playa with all it has too offer. Great restaurants, shops, night life and the ferry to Cozumel, which is a great day trip. If you head south towards Tulum and about 15 minutes from the condo you will find two very large eco-parks, Xcaret and Xplore. Each one is a day trip in its self and they offer two very different experiences. Once you have had your fill of fun and sun you can retreat back too AWA and enjoy the peace and quiet and all the complex has to offer!

A great place to stay for an awesome vacation

I highly recommend this condo for its, location close to the major highway to town and airport, its quiet setting with a gorgeous pool, and its spacious accommodation. 2 bedrooms, we slept 3 on the king size bed in one room , and our friends shared the queen and its pullout queen, in the other. I would say this is the perfect sleep arrangements for a family that has up to 4 children. The owner is a pleasure to deal with, and communicates quickly to any questions you may have. We had previously booked another 3 bedroom condo in the area, which with no explanation, was cancelled with our money returned one week before departure ( talk about last minute stress!!!) We found this unit at the same price in total as the last. ( it appeared more expensive since the previous unit charged a lower price but charged for more than 2 occupants). The condo is well appointed, clean and well maintained, comfortable and quiet. You can't ask for more from a holiday/vacation rental. Once again highly recommended.

Condo was great. Amenities made you feel right at home, loved the fact that they had beach chairs and umbrellas which made our day trips to the beach much more comfortable. Property manager was very kind and assisted us with suggestions of nearby things to do. Would surely consider staying here again. Love the quietness of the community.

This is a beautiful place. It is quiet and very safe.

This rental is an oasis of peace away from the colorful, and exciting adventure you will have in this area of Mexico. You will find everything you could need in this rental. The kitchen is very nice and even has a dishwasher. This unit is next to the pool and the parking was great.

Playa del Carmen Great Apartment for Family Vacation!!!!

I would like to thank Mr. Gordon for his patience and support in renting his apartment.!!

It was a great experience for my family to have stayed in this property, fully furnished and with all the appliances needed for an enjoyable vacation.

The pool was great, the palapa area for resting, the day and night security guy was very courteous, polite and helpful.

The property surroundings and landscape is beautiful, please keep in mind that this is a brand new complex.

We did not go to the Hotel Beach club, right outside of the complex, as it was a little bit over priced, almost 900 Mexican Pesos per person for the full day with no drinks or food, and 1300 Mexican pesos for the drink and food package per person, but there was no problem, as Playa de Carmen has a lot of great beaches and clubs all over the strip with much better prices.

The property is about 10 minutes drive from the city downtown, but is you rent a car, or take a cab or buses, ride along every minute. Do not worry for that.

This was a perfect vacation, wish to have spent more time in Playa del Carmen, lots of thing to do, and this was our third time in town. I will recommend this home away from home to everybody.

Great place to stay

It was a great experience to stay at this property. Very comfortable, great location, only 10 min. drive from downtown Playa del Carmen, very well communicated. Great for families of 4 or 5. Everything worked great.

Definitely our first option to stay the next time we go to the Mayan Riviera.

Fabulous home away from home

This was a great introduction into the vacation experience beyond the all-inclusive. Dealing with both the property manager and the owner was pleasant, simple and enjoyable. The amenities here satisfied all our needs and the condo truly felt like "being home".

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice quiet place away from the hustle, bustle and noise of downtown PDC. Learning the local transportation system is a must and will save you $$ (and it's easy!).

The neighbors in the condo complex are pleasant and very helpful.

All in all, this vacation was a great experience.

Weekly rental includes 110 Kws of electricity per week, any overages are the responsibility of the renter. We do this to encourage renters to turn of AC units while away from the condo. Monthly renters must pay for their own electricity. Our Complex is a quiet place and quiet time is from 10:30 pm to 8:00 am this rule is strictly enforced.
