We're in Miami Beach in an oceanfront building with state of the art facilities, pool, gym, social room, sauna and steam showers, on Collins in Mid/North beach just across the street from multiple restaurants that deliver as well a brand new Super Publix supermarket and Chase Bank.
One and a half block from public bike rentals to stroll through the entire Miami Beach town.
Walkable distance from gourmet Zagat rated restaurants and a farmers market on the weekends, with access to public transportation to the world famous Aventura Mall.
Short distance drive from the trendy Design and Art districts of Miami, with plenty of galleries and street Art and high-end shopping.
In front of the building the new paved board walk along the Atlantic Ocean, for runners, skaters and bikers goes almost for three miles.
We provide cotton sheets and plenty of towels, china, glass and silverware, pots and pans, a toaster, coffee maker, and umbrella and beach chairs. Plenty of WiFi in the apartment, the pool and even the beach!! As well cable TV with HBO and a DVD player with some movies and opportunity to rent in Publix.
Cozy: Our home is inspired by 'coziness': relaxing with good friends or loved ones in the beautiful beach of Miami Beach, often while enjoying good food and something to drink or creating a more friendly atmosphere by watching the spectacular sunset of Florida from our balcony.
Proximity to the JFK causeway makes for easy access to and from airports, and the exciting city of Miami. With hurricane proof windows, the apartment has a perfect noise isolation to enjoy sleeping.

We were residents of miami Beach for almost 15 years and wanted to get a place in the area to keep going to that paradise and in the future why not, retire in there
With the advantages of a growing exciting city across the bridge this place is located in the ocean and is the perfect place for relaxing holidays or at least relaxing during business trips watching spectacular sunsets, working out or getting into the pool or ocean every morning or evening
My husband and I just spent January and February at the Collins and had a wonderful stay. The unit is very clean, very spacious and not cluttered. ithe floor was nicely tiled with very comfy scatter rugs around. Might seem like a small thing but it's amazing how good it feels to step on a soft rug when you get up - trust me, not all units have them. There was plenty of storage, lots of blankets in case nights got cold, chairs and umbrella for the beach and a well equipped kitchen. There was cleaning service every 10 days which we truly appreciated. And since we do business while traveling it was a real bonus to have a desk in the bedroom. The common areas were beautiful and meticulous and the front desk staff and doormen were very courteous and friendly.
The location was perfect for us. We didn't want a car and had very convenient bus service. Lots of interesting restaurants nearby, but the ones we enjoyed most were Prima Pasta, George's, Fifi, and a Mexican restaurant right next to George (can't remember the name). Easy to get anywhere. We walked along the ocean up to Bal Harbor which is a little over 2 miles. There you can find some very high end shopping - the Bal Harbour shops are beautiful. Bal Harbour also has good restaurants that aren't over priced. And some pretty pricey autos in the parking lot including a Bugatti.
The Collins has a beautiful pool with plenty of chairs and is right on the ocean. the unit overlooks Collins, which being a major street can be quite noisy at night, however this didn't bother us at all.
Beatriz was a delight to work with. This is a very roomy, very comfortable unit and we highly recommend it.
Diana and her sister Beatriz were so lovely and responsive to anything we needed to know. We had such a lovely 6 week stay here. The apartment is large and well appointed and very comfortable, it has a big kitchen with everything you need including a dishwasher and even a blender! It also has a laundry with dryer and washer, and two toilets, big bathroom with separate his/hers basins!
The bedroom is very large with a king size bed, the bed mattress is very comfortable but the only thing about this I would fix is the bed is only about a foot off the ground so it is not easy getting out of!
This lovely apartment is quite peaceful with dramatic skies to watch every afternoon as the sunsets over the horizon. It doesn't face the beach but that didn't matter to us at all. The beach is right at your back door and we swam nearly everyday in the afternoon when it was not so hot which was a real thrill as we love the beach. There is also a large pool in the complex which faces the beach with lounge chairs which is great for relaxing and reading.
There is a good gym which we used daily too, which was handy for us as it was too hot for us to exercise outside at this time of year. Although we did hire bikes a few times which are also just across the road near Publix!
The really handy thing is that Publix supermarket is only about a block away and they have heaps of organics and great produce. There is a hairdressers Alecia's one block up and she is great, and there are restaurants everywhere.
The security in the building was very good, Javier especially was such a lovely person and so helpful, having the car park was very handy as we did hire a car a few times to drive out to Disney World and also to Key West!
Although it took quite an effort to organise the actual rental agreement, it seemed like a huge amount of paperwork, but with a lovely building like the Collins I can understand why they need to protect the property, it is really nice, and it was really worth it in the end.
We are thrilled we chose Diana's lovely apartment at the Collins, it is a bit north of proper Miami and it is a more quieter spot which we like. We would definitely come back here if we come back to Miami as it is a very high standard of apartment building!
Everything was great..but the pool was broken...appart form that the unit was very good located..steps from the beach that was gorgeous... We've a very good time!!! Thanks
It is easy to write a review for this apt as it was exactly as described. No bad surprises at this beautiful apt. We could not have stayed at a nicer apt with owners that are most accommodating. They so want to please you and help with whatever your needs and always available. There are restaurants galore and a publix right across the street making your stay so convenient. The beach and pool are beautiful and clean. We have stayed at many apts in Miiami Beach and The Collins is by far the nicest, being immaculate and all the staff are friendly as can be. As for us, our search is over, we plan on returning again and again.Thank you Diana and Alejo .
We've rented this unit for 9 nights for Christmas Holidays. This was the first time we didn't stay at the hotel , and we are very happy with our decision .The owners of the condo are the nicest and most accommodating people you could ask for . They made us feel welcome and were ready to help with anything we needed to enjoy our stay there to the fullest . The unit is beautiful, very clean , modern and comfortably appointed . The location is great , walking distance to restaurants , great grocery store , entertainment, and short drive to Miami and other attractions. The building has a really nice gym with all amenities . The outdoor pool and the surroundings are great and that includes a great boardwalk in the back of the building separating it from the beach . The beach is beautiful and very clean , only few steps from the building . You can feel there very private, but not isolated . We felt there like loved family members , left to their privacy , but not forgotten , and always knew that any help we needed was only a phone call , or short text away . Diana and Alejo are very warm and caring people , ready to help anytime , and available and reachable whenever needed . Diana greeted us with the open heart and made us feel at home from the second we've met her . Our stay there was great ,
a very memorable experience . We definitely will be coming back anytime we visit the area , and since our son lives and works in Miami , I'm pretty sure there will be frequent visits . Thank you Diana and Alejo for making our family Christmas
