My husband and I found this lovely place and decided to try it out for a weekend getaway and it was perfect. We felt so at home and everything was wonderful, the location, the coziness, everything was great and we really hope to visit The Log Cabin again real soon.

Great place

  • 5 of 5

Four of us stayed 11 days fishing trip. The most relaxing place on earth. Owners Vaughan an Christa are wonderful down to earth people and made sure we were well equipped. This was our second year staying at their cabin and we'll be back.

Thank you

So rustic! Loved it.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at this cabin. Vaughn was very accommodating of our needs, and a pleasure to do business with, even when we had some challenges. The cabin is just as advertised, and we were very comfortable. One surprise: it did not have coffee/tea for us to use. Not that this is necessary, just that I have become accustomed to it being provided, so I didn't pick any up for our stay. A small issue that is easily remedied by visiting the Dollar General on the corner or the grocery store nearby. We went to the Talladega race as guests of the medical team. The cabin was a beautiful and restful respite from the noise and craziness of the track. I will definitely try to stay here if we return to Talladega again. Thanks so much!

Another Amazing Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second trip to this wonderful little cabin. The cabin is rustic but so comfortable! The bed is great and has the most amazing comfortable sheets. If possible, I would like to find out what thread count and brand! Yes, they were that amazing! The owners are great to work with and make EVERYTHING easy. The fishing was great too! Caught over 35 in three days--Bass, Crappie, Drum Fish and Catfish! So peaceful, we took a nap in our hammock one afternoon! This little cabin is perfect for a couples get away or a fishing trip with buddies! Very hard to leave this little piece of paradise! Thank you Bryant Family for allowing us to unwind and relax at your amazing little cabin! We will be back in October!

Best Getaway Ever!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is easy to find and close to everything but far away from the world. you can see the lake from both porches but my favorite spot was the swing on the front porch. The owners are fabulous to work with and I was fortunate to be able to stay an extra night. Matter of fact, leaving was difficult. I absolutely loved the decor and slept like a baby! I don't know why anyone would say the bed was hard because it's not. It was perfect. I highly recommend this adorable cabin for anyone who wants to escape. The owners dogs are friendly and love to hang out on the porch. I fully intend to escape here again.
