A delightful stay! One of our favorites😊
We so enjoyed our visit to Orcas Island and especially appreciated the perfect place to stay.
The house was wonderfully outfitted with anything we could have needed, provided breath taking views (Stunning sights of Mt. Baker), located right on the water and was very well appointed ! A well stocked kitchen, very comfy beds and great reading material were just a few of the thoughtful touches.
So much wildlife right outside our window! We watched seals, porpoise, otters, herons and deer! We enjoyed the opportunity to cook on the grill and recommend the fresh seafood from Buck Bay Shellfish farm in Olga. Beautiful evenings were spent with a fire in the fire pit, looking at the constellations. The house has a gas fireplace we took advantage of on the cooler evenings. The kayaks were great fun!
Megan and Drew were absolutely wonderful to deal with and very helpful with answers to our questions and tips on the area.
Thank you for sharing this magical space!!
Beautiful view from the back porch!!
The house was very comfortable and accommodating! We had a great visit!!
Perfect, Peaceful Getaway!
I stayed here with my mother and my two young children for three nights. I wish we had been able to stay longer! Megan was such a helpful host and provided us with tips for whale watching and booking the ferry in advance.
The house is lovelier than it looks in the pictures. It's small, but the layout (two master suites plus open living/kitchen area) is wonderful and so comfortable. The views of the water are breathtaking! Our first evening we sat on the deck and drank wine and watched harbor porpoises and harbor seals in the water. It's an easy walk down to the beach, where the kids enjoyed playing in the rocks and driftwood.
The house was absolutely immaculate and the beds were so comfortable. Just keep the blinds down so the rising sun doesn't wake you earlier than you want to be awakened!
The kitchen was well stocked and the grill on the deck made for easy meal prep.
This is a lovely little house. We had the best time! Thank you!
best view in the San Juans
Incredible view; nicely appointed; great deck with plenty of chairs; quiet neighborhood; would defin
They say one picture is worth a thousand words. But in this case no picture can really communicate the serenity and peace that one enjoys at this place. Sitting on the deck looking out on the water is so delightful and calm here you just don't want to get up. The view isn't really the one pictured (the stunning snow capped mountain rising from the water). Rather it is a pleasant view of small islands to the north of Orcas Island. But, as I said, it is stunning in another way -- the quiet and calm.
Inside everything is spotless, uncluttered, well provisioned and comfortable. The beds are fabulous.
Lovely beach front property
Great Gemini layout. Well maintained with high quality materials. Great beds. Would have liked privacy hedges on both sides of property. Great view from the deck. A colander would be a great addition to the otherwise well equipped kitchen. We almost took the rocking chair with us it was soooo comfortable! The screen door to the deck should be hinged on the other side to make access easier.
Our Beach Cabin is on beautiful Orcas Island. Orcas is often called the resort island because of the many beach resorts, restaurants, art galleries and charming shops. Recreational options include golf, tennis, a small movie house, live music, restaurants and, in the summer, a seasonal Saturday farmers' market. You can also hike in many places, including Moran State Park, Washington's fourth largest State Park, as well as Turtle Back Mountain. There are also several mountain lakes to explore.
