About Tina Stallone

Our family purchased the home as an investment in 2009. We recently decided to remodel the apartment and turn it into a vacation rental. The location is perfect for out-of-towners in love with (or ready to fall in love with) San Diego. We certainly have enjoyed living in SD both when we were young and single, then as a dating couple, and now raising our kids here.

Great apartment in nice neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

Me and a colleague of mine stayed for roughly two months in this nice apartment during a research visit at UCSD. The apartment was nice and clean, located in the quit neighborhood of University Heights. It had everything we needed, including washing machine and dryer (as well as Netflix). We enjoyed our time in San Diego and would definitely stay in the same apartment during a next visit. The deposit was payed back just a few days after we arrived in Europe again!

Everything was as promised. The owners were very responsive and helpful and the location was convenient to the shops in University Heights, which is a really great spot. Would definitely stay again.

Nice Location!

  • 4 of 5

My partner and I stayed here over Thanksgiving. It turned out to be perfect for our needs - close to friends and family and centrally located to easy to get to anywhere else we wanted to go. The neighborhood is quiet and nice for walks. You can walk to Balboa Park if you're the energetic type. Coffee shops and restaurants are also walkable. At the end of the alley there's a great view of Mission Valley, especially at night. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner, and the bed was comfy! We look forward to staying here again.

Great apartment in a great area!

  • 4 of 5

My wife and I rented this apartment for an extended time (2.5 months) and we were very happy with all aspects of our stay. Dave and Tina very flexible, accommodating, and quick to offer any assistance. Communication was alway clear and easy. The apartment had everything we needed to cook and be comfortable. The neighborhood is a gem too - very quiet, safe, family-friendly, and walkable - with easy access to great restaurants, grocery stores, shops, etc. We only rented a car for part of our time there and enjoyed walking or using public transportation most of the time. We found the apartment to be a very good value and size, accurately described in the listing and in photos. Would recommend it to anyone and especially for families with kids.

University Heights is a neighborhood located in Central San Diego. It is adjacent to the neighborhoods of Hillcrest and North Park. There are a number of restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques and other eclectic businesses within walking distance of our home. University Heights is centrally located and allows visitors to explore the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park to the immediate South. The larger commercial district of Mission Valley sits in the valley below University Heights and the beaches (Ocean and Mission) are a short 15 minute jaunt to the West. Downtown San Diego and all it has to offer, is a short ten minute drive South.
