Just Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

The condo is just beautiful! Great location in downtown Nashville. We stayed here on September 8th for the weekend celebrating a birthday. Condo is well kept and very clean! Décor is just beautiful. We even took a couple of pictures of the art on the walls so that I can frame them for our trip memories. :) The downtown area can be easily walked from this condo. Walked to Bridgestone Arena for a concert and Nissan Stadium is just as close. Betsy is amazing to work with. She gave us a early check-in as the condo was vacant the night before. Betsy also provides a book of things to see and places to dine. Fantastic stay! Looking forward to another visit to Betsy's place when we visit family in Nashville.

Fantastic Place

  • 4 of 5

My wife and I came to Nashville the weekend of July 21-23 to celebrate her birthday. Correspondence from Betsy leading up to stay was great. When we arrived we parked at the valet area in front of the doorway and told the guy we were guests and unloading and would move car shortly, as Betsy had suggested. This worked great. Came back to car with parking tag that was in the loft and parked in the garage across the street, which was very convenient. We absolutely loved the unit when we walked in. Was very clean. Photos don't do it justice. Spacious with great décor and comfortable furniture. Loved the exposed brick and twinkle lights on the bakers/wine rack. We spent the first hour admiring the place and talking about coming back Fall break and bringing our 15 year old daughter. There was a laminated booklet of guidelines for the unit and suggested things to do/places to eat. Location is fantastic. Easy walk to anything downtown. We did the guided tour of the Ryman which was fantastic and Country Music Hall of Fame. Though we had parking across the street, we chose to UBER when leaving downtown to avoid traffic/driving. Went to comedy show at Zanies Friday night. Ate at Demos' Friday night which is one of long time favorites and Party Fowl for hot chicken for lunch Saturday. It was great fun and best Mac and Cheese I've ever had. Merchant's for dinner Saturday night was fantastic. Details on all of these are in the information that Betsy provides. You have to use 2 codes to get to the unit. 3 if the front entrance is closed. Felt very safe.

I hate to bring up negative, but it wouldn't be an honest review if I didn't. We too, as a previous poster had mentioned, had major issue with the Air Conditioning. When we arrived the thermostat was set on 70 but temp in unit was 76 even though air from vent was cool. We were hoping that it would be cooler when we returned form show/dinner. When we returned about around 10:30 it was still 76 on thermostat and hotter in upstairs sleeping area. I emailed Betsy and she emailed back immediately that she would get someone out. At around 8:30 A/C tech knocked on door. We were relieved and appreciated the quick response. He said he may have to shut off while he works. We returned around 5pm he said he did have to shut off but was back on. I guess he didn't have it off very long because temp was the same 76. Temp never changed and was still 76 when we left Sunday morning. Sadly we were ready to get home and sleep.
