Just outside Welches resort town on the slopes of Mount Hood, this lovely Mount Hood vacation rental will offer you an authentic cabin experience on your next excursion to the forests of Oregon. You'll enjoy the silence of the forest while still having access to Welches resort activities like golf, fitness centers, and spa, some small-town eateries and drugstores for any forgotten necessities.
Built for extreme mountain comfort, this home is warm and cozy with its geometric patterns in dark reds and tans, wood furnishings, and leather furniture. Enjoy a wood burning stove in the living room, as well as fantastic decor like the antique canoes hanging over the couch (please do not touch or remove - these are decorative and not to be used).
The kitchen and dining area offer an enormous amount of space for your bustling party to move through with ease as they serve themselves from your buffet-style meal or simple reach over one another for the cereal in the morning. There's plenty of counter space, and basic appliances for the everyday cook to use, including a dishwasher and a coffee maker. Seat six at the glass-topped dining table, and enjoy the movement of the sun through the skylights overhead.
This home has three bedrooms filled with enough sleeping space for up to six guests: there's a queen-sized sleigh bed upstairs in the master, a set of bunk beds and a full trundle in one room, a futon in the downstairs third bedroom. This home also has two full bathrooms. There's also a laundry room in the hall just down from the kitchen. At this time, this home does not have cable or Wi-Fi access - the perfect place to unplug for a spell.
Besides the resorts at Welches with golf courses, fresh water sports, spa treatments and the like, guests at this Mount Hood rental get access to the neighborhood activity lodge with tennis courts, a pool, and a gym. Hike and bike right from your driveway, and enjoy the natural beauty of Mount Hood from the very heart of its forests!
Please note this property is a completely non-smoking and pet-free property.
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
We brought our children and grandchildren up for a short getaway, and the layout of the home in addition to the décor and full kitchen, made for a wonderful time in the snow. Mattresses aren't the most comfortable, but overall, it's a great place.
We loved staying at the house. It was so much nicer and more comfortable than staying at a hotel. The house was very clean, functional, and such a pretty area.
We had a great family trip. The house is very comfortable and the area is beautiful. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fire pit and the nice quiet neighborhood. There are many great hikes in the area too.
Nice home with great set up for kids sleeping. Master bedroom has a nice mattress, I can't say the same with the other beds. Outside firepit was nice as was the interior woodstove. Kitchen is nice and roomy, but bring everything you need for cooking, oils, spices, etc. It was a great place and we loved it!
