About Lisa Toller

I am a marketing consultant and my husband, Joel, is a Realtor in St. Helena, CA. We love spending as much time as possible with family and friends in our second home in Whitefish, Montana. Perfect Vacation Home

  • 5 of 5

Your warm and cozy cottage was perfect for our visit to Whitefish, Mt. It was tastefully decorated, comfortable and met all of our needs. The kitchen was well stocked for any kind of cooking. The owners have remodeled this cottage to make anyone's stay feel like home. The location could not have been better. It's proximity to town is perfect for walking and or biking around town and the area. The owners are very cordial and quick to respond to any needs one has. We couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. We hope to come back to this special place. It's a gem.

Charming Whitefish Home

  • 5 of 5

I can't say enough good things about this charming Whitefish cottage! From the beautiful landscaping to the comfortable, well designed furnishings, it was a delight to spend the month of July there. It is in a quiet neighborhood, an easy walk to downtown and more than once I saw deer in the front yard. Lisa and Joel are very professional and accommodating, wanting everything to be perfect for their guests. The beds are very comfortable, the bathroom generous in size and the kitchen compact but perfect. It was so wonderful to open the windows and enjoy the cool Montana air in summer - a rare treat for someone from Florida! Truly a home away from home. I hope to return!

Excellent for skiers

  • 5 of 5

This was our first stay in this nice little house close to downtown Whitefish - last winter we had stayed in a different house also owned by Lisa and Joel and loved it. Because we had such a great time on our previous trip and it seemed unlikely that things would or could be better, we were ready for an adjustment in our expectations. Happily I had nothing to worry about. This house has a fresh updated look without losing the early century bungalow vibe. It's airtight and has a modern heating system that any visiting Floridian would appreciate. There's plenty of room to stash the kids upstairs if you have them, the basement is dry and has a nice laundry area, and the bathroom has a big tub for soaking the winter chill out of your bones after a long day on the mountain. My only caution to future travelers is that because it's an old house it has steep narrow staircases. Older, less mobile folks might have trouble but they can plan around something like that.

All the usual gushing about the town of Whitefish still applies - it's a great place in summer and winter. The resort, although it's not world class, is more than enough for our skiing skills and the costs are quite reasonable. We had our car with us for our daily trip up the mountain but downtown is within walking distance.

Lisa is easy to deal with, responds quickly via email for any scheduling or financial issues and the place was spotless when we moved in. We've already arranged our 2017 trip.

Charming Cottage

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5 stayed for the month of August 2015. Loved the house, great location. Clean and comfortable. Close enough to walk and bike into town and to the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the birds and deer. The owners very professional , nice to deal with. Would definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful home in a perfect location.

  • 5 of 5

This Whitefish cottage was just perfect for my month stay in Whitefish for work. The full kitchen, washer/dryer, internet, and beautiful decor was everything I needed and more to make me feel at home!

Lisa was very accommodating with my travel planning and logistics. There is so much love and care put into this home, I wish I didn't have to leave! I couldn't ask for a better location either. It was walking distance to all the best restaurants, pubs, shops, etc., yet on a quiet street with deer often passing by.

It was the best find in the area at a great price! Look forward to returning again!

Comfortable Whitefish Cottage

  • 5 of 5

In July, we stayed in Whitefish at this cottage. Not only is it comfortable and homey, but it is also impeccably decorated. The street is quiet, yet close to town. We were able to easily walk downtown for shopping or dinner. The river is nearby, where you can kayak or jog the paths that border it. We enjoyed cooking dinner in the kitchen, which is spacious enough and well-appointed. We will definitely return to Whitefish, and we will definitely look into the availability of this property again!
