Beautiful home

  • 5 of 5

We came up for the Bristol races & got much more. The hummingbird's, turkey's & deer abound. Found ourselves stopping by the Tractor Supply picking up whole corn. Every time my wife comes up to the mountains, she brings her hummingbird feeder with her. It paid off in spades!

We wanted for nothing. It was just like we were @ home.

Great view

  • 4 of 5

Stayed with family for a week. Ken the owner is great to work with. We had some issues but they were resolved immediately. The view of Roan Mountain is wonderful. The pool table was a big hit since we had alot of rain. The driveway is gravel and very steep. House is clean. Make sure you bring your own toilet paper and trash bags as the house does not supply. The horses below the property were a treat. They were very friendly even with our dog. It is a hit further than Bakersville. Fishing nearby.

This place is a dream

  • 5 of 5

Since the first day we arrived at North Carolina I could tell this was going to be an amazing experience. This trip was totally different from us cause we come from Miami, Fl and coming here is was like a different world. When we arrived at the house it was way better then what I saw on the pictures. The view is amazing and inside the house is super beautiful. The owner is very helpful and when I need him for something he will reply right away. This place is calm and we were lucky to see a little snow so we were happy about that. My 2 favorite place in the house is the sun room and the basement. We will for sure come again with our family here.

Amazing!

  • 5 of 5

The pictures do not do justice to this lovely property. The view was breathtaking, the house very lovely and very clean. We had 9 adults and several children of all ages and all of us found it spectacular. The finished basement was a lovely place for the family to gather. It is a walkout basement so once again a very nice view. The roads leading to the house are well maintained but a bit curvier than we were expecting but we live in a flat-land area so we are not used to mountains. The driveway to the house is steep but we encountered no issues with any of our trucks or cars. The owner was very prompt and kind when replying to our questions. It was evident that he takes a lot of pride in the house and property. There is a great Wal-Mart about 30 minutes away which we found very helpful for groceries and last minute Christmas gifts. Near the Wal-Mart there were also a few eating establishments and a gas station. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property to others.
