Perfect for our group

  • 4 of 5

Upon arrival, there were some construction issues with the South Lodge, so we stayed in the North Lodge. Best hiccup ever! It was so much better suited for our group. The open layout on both floors made it easy to prepare meals and just hang out. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean. The water pressure wasn't the greatest, but not a deal breaker.

The patios and balconies were very enjoyable, the perfect place for a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Be warned...If you like coffee, and have a big group, bring your own coffee pot. The one coffee pot for both levels is upstairs and brews incredibly slow. Or you can bring your own K-cups for the individual cup brewing systems, one on each level.

The pool was not open yet, so cannot comment. However, the hot tub was functional, after we were able to get out of sleep mode. It was nice to sit back and relax in the evening.

The outdoor grilling area was nice and fairly large. There were three charcoal grills available for use, a few picnic tables and some extra seating.

Overall, this was a very comfortable place to stay and met all our needs. Would stay again if back in the area with a large group.

Side note: Karen, the owner was more than accommodating, any question we had or issue that came up, she was very pleasant and helpful.

Perfect for family reunion

  • 4 of 5

we rented the entire North lodge. Plenty of beds and baths. Lots of soaps and paper goods supplied. Enjoyed the pool and the dock on the lake. Young adults made use of all the provided equipment there. Karen was very helpful. Kitchens and baths fully stocked for use by our family of 16 adults and 7 children. Cleaning in bedrooms could have been better: spots on carpets, incomplete dusting, corners and underneath furniture overlooked.

Large space, no golf course, good for large groups

  • 4 of 5

We stayed at this property for 5 days during the month of July. We were there for a family reunion with a large group of 27 people (two families stayed at this property). This property is about 1 hour from the Branson strip.

There are two large buildings on this property, the North and the South building. We were housed in the entire North building. Each building is made up of at least two separate units, not one large building unit as the information would lead you to believe. For example, though our building did have 9 bedrooms, it was divided up into two separate units accessible only by an exterior staircase. So that is something to consider if you are truly wanting one large unit.

These units sit on the Kings River Golf Course- HOWEVER, when we were there, the golf course had been shut down for about 6 weeks, with no foreseeable plans to reopen. So if your group is wanting to stay there because of the proximity to this golf course, as of July 2015, golf wasn't an option on this course.

The South building was rented by a different group while we were there. While this was no problem in general, the pool is right next to the South building, so until we met the other group, it was a little uncomfortable for our group to go to the pool since we felt like we were invading their space. It was nice to have the pool on site, but depending on who is renting the other units, it could be an interesting dynamic depending on which building you are staying in. We didn't use the hot tub because it was the middle of July.

While we were there, the dock was under water due to flooding, though this was obviously just the fault of Mother Nature and not the owners, so I can't comment. There is no view of Table Rock Lake from the actual unit, though the dock is a short 10 minute walk from the property.

We did feel the unit could have been maintained a bit better. There are some parts of the property that show some wear and tear, and we felt that the cleaning left a bit to be desired, as we found cups and personal items from previous guests under the beds when we checked in.

Overall, we enjoyed the large space to spend time with family. With a few upgrades and maintenance issues, this could be a great place to stay.

Great place to stay with a lot of room! I would definitely stay here again and reccomend to a friend

  • 5 of 5

Eleven of my friends and I stayed in the cabin by the pool and hot tub for three nights. There was room for several more. This was a very nice and clean cabin. There are 5 bedrooms downstairs, and at least 4 more upstairs (I did not go upstairs much so I do not remember). There were TVs in each bedroom I saw, multiple bathrooms (I basically had one to myself), a good sized kitchen area, and a deck that goes all the way around the house. This cabin did not have WiFI to my knowledge, but I believe the other cabin did. This was not a big deal, as it made it easier to spend time talking to my friends instead of playing on the internet. The cabin is very well furnished and the bed I slept in was comfortable. The owner I spoke with was very friendly and accommodating. We left a few items, and she said she would be glad to look for them.
