Cosy converted barn

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed a relaxed weekend at Popfoster's Barn. The accommodation is first class and the welcome hamper a lovely touch. The barn is clean, comfortable and a home away from home. The hosts were friendly and on hand for advice if we needed them. The garden is beautiful and I can imagine eating al fresco in Summer months on the terrace. We had a great time in the Cotswolds and would highly recommend this property.

Clean, Comfortable, beautiful setting

  • 5 of 5

Lisa's barn is a perfect get away. It has wonderful character with modern amenities. It was clean. The beds were very comfortable. The large back yard and setting are lovely. Lisa is extremely friendly and welcoming. The welcome basket of baked goods, jams, eggs and milk was such a wonderful addition. It is in a great location for visiting the Cotswolds. Suitable for 2 couples or a family of 4, if kids don't mind sharing a double bed.

Quaint - Peaceful - Quiet - An Escape

  • 5 of 5

The property is beautifully restored and well appointed, clean and cosy. The owners are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. It is set in some of the most beautiful countryside England has to offer. we had a lovely 2 night get-away from the world here and would return in a heartbeat. Not sure if I'd tell my friends as they might steal our booking dates! (of course I will).

Idyllic Barn in a Convenient Location

  • 5 of 5

This barn is every bit as quaint and charming as the pictures indicate. We had a most delightful stay here. It was the perfect set-up for 2 adults and 2 kids. Lisa had a wonderful breakfast hamper waiting for us on our arrival and was wonderful to work with. Definitely a pinch-me - I can't quite believe this place is real lodgings. It was also very conveniently located to daytripping around the Cotswolds by both car and foot.

Charming barn conversion with friendly hosts and fabulous garden.

  • 5 of 5

The 4 of us had a fantastic 3 night stay at Popfosters Barn in May. From the welcome hamper to the friendly disposition of our hosts, we were made to feel like honoured guests from the moment we arrived. The local area has lots to see and do, particularly for walkers, and our hosts, Lisa and Adam, were discretely on hand to give us tips from shopping to walking and eating and drinking. We had the private use of the wonderful sunny garden and cooked BBQs on the large patio (with lots of outdoor furniture) most nights due to the great weather and sheltered nature of the property. Tastefully converted, the barn had all mod cons but was a restful and peaceful place for us to lay our heads down at night.

Owner's Response: It was an absolute pleasure to have Carolyn Mike Steve & Beverly to come and Stay at the Barn. They enjoyed the garden , the surrounding walks , the local farm shops which the men enjoyed cooking on the BarBQ. The weather was very much on their side too. Doug our family dog was very spoilt by having lots of attention given to him . We hope to see Carolyn and the gang in the future. Thank you for your kind words and respecting the Barn. Best Adam Lisa & Doug

Beautiful bolthole

  • 5 of 5

A delightful property which was the perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds. The decor is very tasteful and our stay was most comfortable. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch. Our boys enjoyed the garden and it was lovely to see the sheep nearby. Would love to return for another relaxing stay - a perfect weekend.
