Very comfortable in a nice quiet neighborhood. Communication with Blair was excellent and she was very accommodating. We would definitely stay there again!
We had the best experience staying at this sweet studio. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, yet close to really fun hangouts. We were in town for a weekend seeing back to back concerts and needed a place to stay quickly. Blair was quick to return our message and accommodate us. She made our stay very easy and enjoyable. She even had a bottle of wine for us waiting in the kitchen when we arrived. It was easy to uber to downtown and back. We would definitely recommend this place to friends visiting Portland.
Very cute and cozy. Convenient to public transportation and cafes and bakeries. The kitchen was well appointed for an efficiency apartment.
We decided on this rental because it was close to our sons' home in NE Portland. We had no idea it would be so close to everything we wanted to do: there are great restaurants within a 10-minute drive, downtown was usually only 15-20 minutes, and we even found 2 NE Portland gems to visit (The Grotto and Rocky Butte) thanks to a wonderful neighbor we met on an evening walk. The owner is very concerned that her guests have the best stay possible; she was easy to reach and welcomed us warmly. We were visiting during a heat wave and this basement studio stayed cool the entire time. If our young 'uns stay in Portland, we would definitely hope to return to this rental.
Not only was the cost very reasonable, this basement apartment was the perfect cool spot during Portland's 100 degree hot spell. Had a cold local beer in the fridge on arrival, Excellent WiFi and TV connection, Bed was extremely comfortable, kitchen said microwave and hot plate but it was fine for our needs. The only deficiency was we had no covered pan - ask and you shall receive. Blair provided it soon after our request and also offered use of fresh oregano, 2 kinds of Basil and mint to garnish our drinks from her thriving backyard gardens. We enjoyed walking a "real" neighborhood during our stay. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
This well located studio is convenient to everything in Portland. You can walk to dining and entertainment, or get in your car and be close to downtown in minutes. We really liked that it was QUIET and peaceful. The inside has a functional kitchenette, nice size tv, and a very comfortable bed. The owner was responsive and I will return on my next trip to Portland!
