About Julie Elieff

My husband Dan and I purchased this cabin as a rental in 2014. We have a second home/cabin on Mille Lacs also. We loved the Garrison area and thought this cabin had a fantastic lake view, in a nice quiet neighborhood. This cabin has been very popular since we began renting it, with many repeat guests.

Perfect property for our Christmas holiday. Plenty of beds, spacious family space and fully equipped kitchen. Top it off with a cozy fire and spectacular view of the Lake. Our whole family is hoping to visit again!

Great location

  • 5 of 5

We had a girls weekend at the cabin, and loved it. Beautiful view of the lake. The only down side was if someone was showering no one else could run water in the rest of the house. Other than that we are definitely staying here again.

Owner's Response: Glad you liked the cabin! Very sorry about the water issue. We had just replaced the water filter due to storm damage, right before your stay. It was evidently the incorrect size for the demands of this cabin. We have since replaced that. We've never had water problems in the past and it is solved. Thanks for your review! Julie

Family get together.

  • 5 of 5

Everything was perfect!! I can not think of one negative thing except having to leave this awesome cabin! You will not need to bring anything! The cabin is stocked with anything you could possible use. If not the town is 5 min. Down the road. We had a plenty of chairs for around the campfire. Cabin has two decks and each is stocked with chairs to sit on. It was so nice being able to sit in the screened in porch and listen to the sound of the waves hitting the shore. (My husband fell asleep a few times to this sound)! The view of the lake from inside the cabin was awesome! We stayed for 8 days and was not long enough! It was very quite during the time we were there. We saw bald eagles fly above each day and loons in the water! We rented the 3 kayaks that Julie had in the shed. Was a great rental price of only 10.00 each for a day. We just lived being able to take the kayaks out and enjoy the lake to the fullest! All rooms were all decorated very nice. All bedrooms had plenty of sleeping room. Kitchen was great to cook in. There is a huge counter with bar stools to eat at. The kitchen counter worked out great for the food prep! There was a full size gas grill outside we used for grilling. Julie had things I would just assume we should bring like (extra paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, freshener spray etc....) she had all that for us to use! (And not the cheap stuff)!😳. They were named brand products. Plenty of silverware, drinking glasses, dinner plates and bowls etc. I could go on and on. You will not be disappointed if you rent this cabin! We would not hesitate to rent again. Also, any questions you may have will be answered within the hour! Not days like some places! Thank you Julie for having and up keeping such a wonderful cabin!!! We hope to stay next summer! I will let you know if it all works out in a week or two!

Perfect Vacation Home!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I absolutely LOVED our time at this vacation home! Julie and Dan are wonderful hosts...this is the third time we've stayed at one of their properties and will definitely book again.

The home is spacious, wonderfully decorated, extremely clean and thoughtfully well-appointed. We enjoyed the lake, kayaking, lawn games, grilling and sitting by the bonfire at night. All in all a perfect experience!
