3 bedroom, 2 bathroom spacious condo, a short walk from the beach. Fondly referred to as 'The Island' by locals, this 'Tropical Tip of Texas' has been a favorite vacation destination of Texans, Mexicans and 'Winter Texans' for decades. South Padre Island has gained national recognition as an ideal vacation destination. This five mile stretch of sandy beaches and bay-side marinas delivers year-round freshwater and deep sea fishing, windsurfing and kiteboarding, sailing and parasailing. Take advantage of numerous attractions or take your spouse for a relaxing evening for a beautiful sunset dinner and/or drinks.

This unit has been rented to several "Winter Texans" and numerous short term rentals. Many of our tenants are returning guests who enjoyed the additional amenities not provided by other locations.

The amenities are amazing...two nice pools, lush tropical landscaping, proximity to the beach and numerous restaurants.

Proximity to the causeway, easy in and out of the island, yet minutes from all the venues. Isolated from crowds, but join them after a short walk. It has a family-oriented pool with wading area for the children and a playground nearby. Full-size pool with fire pit and two hot tubs. Picnic and outdoor grilling areas. Bar area with outdoor kitchen.

Property was exactly what we were looking for, was in excellent shape and well maintained!

The property was in excellent shape and perfect for our family needs. The rooms, kitchen, bathrooms were all updated and very nice. The location was easy to get to since it was close to the bridge and the pool was perfect for our young kids. The beach was a little hike given the location, but not too bad. (Perhaps the management can look at providing golf cart rides.) Parking and location was secure thanks to the gated property, but parking was a little tough in the late hours. Overall we had a terrific time, we will be back, and will recommend this location to our family and friends! Thank you!

The condo was very clean and comfortable. The top bunk of both beds mattresses were a little hard but not a problem as my daughter just liked the idea of sleeping on the top bunk and it wasn't necessary. I was surprised to see I could cook comfortably like I were at home. I truly felt at ease. I read this was only a 5-7 minute walk to the beach but it actually took much longer. I just drove my car to access 3 and it was fine. I loved the decor, temp was set perfectly so if we needed it to be cooler we turned up the fans and were very comfortable. Wi-Fi was available and we did have problems at times with it but it was a vacation so I was a little happy inside that my kids couldnt sit and play games. Condo is across the street from dolphin watch and next to Schlitterbahn. If you want to schedule something you can get a discount for staying at this condo. Marco was prompt about answering my calls with the acception to one question toward the end of our stay but it all turned out for the better. Over all, my family had a blast, and we hope to return every year from now on.

Owner's Response: Mary, thank you for the excellent review. We strive to ensure the condo is clean and comfortable and our guest services works hard to ensure you are happy upon arrival. We will look into the mattress to ensure they are comfortable. As you are aware mattresses come in varying stiffness levels; we recently added a stiffener under the mattress due to a previous review indicating the mattresses were soft. As we also use the condo on some occasions, we attempt to have it well stocked with amenities for cooking comfort. We were sad to hear that the walk was not to your expectations. We have measured the distance and time requires and thought it was an adequate measurement. We often walk with beach chairs and an ice chest. Glad you found the access along Gulf Blvd, they are quite convenient. We often receive positive feedback on the WiFi and hope that you enjoyed access to free movies on the Amazon FireTV. We are always available for questions and simply a phone call away or an email/text. Once again, we are glad you enjoyed the stay and would love for you to return at a future date.
