Fantastic Cabin, Great personal touch.

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay, the House was as advertised, and more!! Very clean, well appointed and could not have been a more welcoming place to stay.

Beautiful views, and very secluded. (very limited to no cell service, but that makes it even more of a getaway). Spoke with the owner Mr. Lacross before our visit, and Darlene (property manager), before and during our stay and both were friendly, helpful and great to deal with. Hard to find anything negative to say. We had a great time!!!

Highly recommended!

Beautiful and Quiet Setting with Only the Sound of the Creek

  • 5 of 5

We certainly enjoyed our short stay at this mountain cottage. Well stocked kitchen, nice appliances, lovely decor. Peaceful and Green view into the trees from the windows in the living room and dining room and a mountain view out the kitchen window. We never saw or heard a car, the only thing we could hear was the mountain stream - so relaxing. Beautiful deck and seating on the deck - very enjoyable. We did find the Hidden Waterfall just up the road from the cabin (has a picnic area) and also a small lake. Although it says you can swim in the lake, the water did not look clean enough to do that. The cabin was 30 minutes from anywhere, but 30 minutes from Chimney Rock, Lake Lure and Montreat - some of my favorite destinations. But, there are NO grocery stores close to the cabin. I was traveling with a friend and my two grandsons and we felt very secure and safe in the gated community. Thank you so much for a lovely stay. Travelers from South Carolina.

Clean and cozy with space for everyone!

  • 4 of 5

The cottage was clean and spacious, with lots of room to spread out. The road up to the cottage is steep and winding, but well maintained. The scenery at the house and in the neighborhood is beautiful. After the kids discovered there was no Internet access, some of them actually even went out to look at it. This was a short trip and our first trip to the area, but this location was pretty convenient to where we wanted to go and was about 20 mins from the interstate. We look forward to visiting again.

Exactly as expected from what was mentioned on the site. We had a wonderful time.

  • 5 of 5

They had everything you might need in stock. The beds were very comfortable. I usually take a couple of days to get adjusted to another bed, no problem this time. Very charming. The owners are very nice and are there to assist you if you need anything. No complaints on my stay except one they have no control of. Expect to drive for food. I think everyone in the area are the nicest people. #Loved it! #Beautiful! #Friendly!

Great house and great area to explore

  • 5 of 5

This house is exactly as advertised. Very private and fairly secluded in a beautiful setting!

The mountain views, the creek, and the short walk to a beautiful waterfall make this a perfect place for a quiet family get away.

The place was nicely furnished, fully stocked, and clean. The wrap around porch was superb and offers truly amazing views.

Just be aware that the nearest grocery store is not super close. So bring what you need. All roads leading there are safe and easily navigated
