This cabin exceeded our expectations! It was clean, incredibly cozy and very tastefully decorated.

The cabin was just wonderful. Only recommendation would be to add a colander to the kitchen but other than that...it really did exceed out expectations. Thank you Donna!

Owner's Response: Glad you enjoyed your stay on the west shore! PS - There is a colander in the kitchen. It's green and stored by the cookie sheets. It's collapsible though so it probably didn't look like what you were expecting if you were looking for a colander. :)

Amazing cabin in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

We had the pleasure of staying in this cabin a few weeks ago and had the most AMAZING time! The cabin was a perfect size for our family of four (my husband and I and our two little girls). It was so cozy, beautifully decorated, and most importantly it was very clean :). In addition, it came with just about EVERYTHING you could possibly need....blankets, all the pots/pans/utensils, hand soap/dishwashing soap...literally all the little things you don't think will be provided are there. I forgot to bring PAM cooking spray to bake the kids' cookies with and was pleasantly surprised to find it in the pantry...along with cooking oil, flour, and a bunch of spices :). The beds were comfy and the couch downstairs was the most comfortable couch ever.

The cabin was located about 30 mins from Squaw Valley and about 45 mins from Truckee where we took our kids to play at Soda Springs. The closest town is Tahoe City which is about 20 mins away. This is where there are the main grocery stores and some yummy restaurants.

Donna was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was always very quick to respond to my messages and numerous questions. The day we were leaving, there was a big snow storm that hit and the main freeway was closed. Donna was so nice to offer her cabin for one more night if we had needed to stay due to the road closures. We loved our time here and are already thinking of excuses to come back :)

Owner's Response: I'm really glad you had an amazing weekend at my cabin in Tahoe . . . and I'm also very glad you made it home safely that day during the storm. Thanks for such a positive and detailed review! If I can't be in Tahoe myself enjoying the cabin, I really try to make it enjoyable for others to visit and use. You're welcome back anytime!

Our stay was amazing

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had a wonderful time up in Lake Tahoe this past weekend -- much due to our cozy accommodations. This A-Frame house is perfect for a quiet weekend in the woods. Donna, our hostess, was super responsive, and provided all the necessary amenities we needed: comfortable beds, blankets, TV/Cable, a stove, a remodeled shower, etc. We could not ask for more.

Perfect ski getaway

  • 5 of 5

Donna's cabin is the perfect little spot for a relaxing ski getaway. We had a very comfortable stay, relaxing by the fire after a few solid days skiing at Homewood, a short 5 min drive from the cabin! Donna was very accommodating and easy to contact, if necessary. We will definitely be back for another stay. Highly recommended!
