Needs an upgrade!
I booked this before I saw the recent reviews, which sadly I agree with. Bathroom smells of sewage, lights not working, lots of things broken and not fixed. It’s in a great position but needs an upgrade and good tidy up. Then it could be very nice.
Was not cheap either! Would have been cheaper to stay in a nice hotel.
The bed was very clean and comfy though!
Not the place for a long stay.
Waited 40 minutes for the check-in to show up. The place needs lots of maintenance. Shades are broken, patio door had no lock, no soap for hand washing, two thin bath towels for a one week stay with two people, half of the bathroom lights were burned out, no starter coffee, no sugar, no creamer, no dryer for cloths, just a drying rack, no kitchen towels, bathroom floor covered with stains, bathroom door handle broken, etc. Management sent a repairman the second day who provided a stick to "lock" the patio door and replaced 2 of the 4 bad lights in the bathroom, one of which burned out the next day, leaving three out of 6 lights working.
first of all this is a self cartering apartment. We put shampoo, a bottle of water, a small and a big towel for each guest. There is a wasching machine to clean these. If we put all the things you would like to have in the apartment then obviously the price would be higher. There is a very large supermarket just in front of the apartment. We allways ask our guest to call 45 minutes before arrival. Many times they have flight delays and we have to wait a long time to do the checkin. You did not call and just appear infront of the apartment so its normal that you have to wait a little bit. Lights are repaired.
Great location, adequate apartment.
Location is wonderful. Apartment is adequate, but not as lovely as shown in photos. Sh ades ripped, drying rack broken, repairs not kept up. No started coffee, towels, etc. Coffee pot broken, was replaced next day. Shower broken, fixed next day. No written instructions for anything. Review from 2017 mentioned same thing, still not fixed by 2019.
Best Location in Barcelona
We had a great experience in Barcelona. The apt was great, best location, clean, modern , spacious for a family of 4. I will stay again for sure .
Locked out. No basic needs
Coffee was provided next day. Normally items such as this are automatically provided.
Great location; otherwise, not so great.
The apartment is in a beautiful building and has a fabulous location. Doorman very nice, and the two lifts were quick and efficient. However, the apartment wasn't terribly clean. There were ants in the kitchen. The bathroom smelled horrendously of sewer gas. Impossible to take a shower without inundating the bathroom. One tiny, tiny ice cube trays in freezer. Also, there was nothing provided except sheets, towels, toilet paper and tiny bottles of shampoo. No paper towels, no dish soap, no dishwasher detergent, no laundry detergent, no soap except a small dispenser of liquid handsoap in kitchen. No spray for the ants. And no instructions for anything. We had to buy everything for our three night stay, which was ridiculous. Why rent an apartment when cooking and cleaning is made so difficult? Not even a sponge was provided. The odor in the bathroom was overwhelming, even with the window open. Bed wasn't terribly comfortable and there was only one extra pillow. All three were very thin. We still had a great time in Barcelona, but others might better spend the same amount of money on a nice hotel.
Located in a building between The Apple Store and Adidas Barcelona, this apartment is located on the stunning Paseo de Gracia, the finest shopping avenue of Barcelona and the center of Modernist architecture. Just two minutes away from Plaza Cataluña and 3 minutes from the famous Ramblas.
The Passeig de Gràcia, which starts at Plaça Catalunya, is the most elegant avenue of Barcelona, where almost every great designer has its own store, such as Gucci, Armani, Hugo Boss, etc. Furthermore, the street houses of Antoni Gaudí's masterpieces, like La Pedrera (also known as Casa Milà) and Casa Battló. The Eixample, also referred to as the Gold Square (Golden Square) contains the greatest amount of modernist buildings of the city of Barcelona. The Eixample district is divided in two, the Eixample Dreta (right side - containing Gaud's renowned Sagrada Família and la Pedrera) and Eixample Esquerra (left side - connecting the Eixample area with the Sants-district), taking the Passeig de Grace as the border line between the two areas.
